here's how it should work in every country. The audtor general in the province of Novas Scotia realeased a scathing report on the abuse of public funds by the MLA's here. (Equal to state reps in US)

I think this should alos happen back in USA.

Here's another link:

Many have resigned and another just today was punted from the caucas.... It's very simple if you get their expenses which are public domain.. Ever wonder what your State Rep's are buying? Maybe a bunker loaded full of??? who knows.

you may want to change your title to the one used in the article, per the T&C.

When the right thread arises in other parts of ATS I will duplicate the following:

In Canada, Australia, Great Britain....parliamentary democracies, when a member of government screws up like this, they tend to be held more accountable then what we see Stateside.

When clearly there is fraud, corruption, abuse, incompetence etc in the above governments, Ministers resign. Period!

In the USA, villains tend to be promoted.

Give me parliamentary democracy ant day, even with it's warts.

You just hit your Edit button and change the title. No need, as it looks like a MOD changed it for you.

This is great.

But to clarify: Even Canadian politicians are dirty crooks, like their American counterparts. For example (this is the most recent example I can think of), the Toronto Municipal councillors were recently exposed for their record expenses (all of which is within their given limit). But, they somehow make all departments cut spending, and we, the taxpayers who are paying their expenses, end up seeing less come out of city hall. These expenses come after their $100k salaries.

All governments run a great system, not just the American government (sarcasm).
