Get out while you can with your life. Nothing else maters. Do what you must to slip away unnoticed and start fresh in a country with some semblance of freedom left. There is none in Africa today nor will there be in any of our futures!
Just found this thread. I had relatives that finally got out of Pretoria two years ago. They got out with the clothes on their backs and little else.
Ever since Joe Schlomo and the Mandelas and the ANC came into being the South African people have suffered much worse fate than they ever experienced under the former government. Every farm they have confiscated and every industry they take over becomes a source of money for the ANC officials and a pittance gets to the people. The country is run by Soviet trained Marxists just like Rhodesia and many of the rest of the countries taken over by Soviet backed insurrection.
Now the Chinese are taking a hand in Zimbabwe/Rhodesia and probably in South Africa also. The people their will never see the freedom they sought and will be living in a cesspool for the rest of the Century. They have sold themselves into slavery and don;t even know it.
