They're more than likely Sumerian, like the pictograms in -5-'s avatar...

i mentioned those glyphs before but everyone dismissed them as jibberish

no...it's not old news...noone's ever tried deceiphering...

I know the circle with the 4 quarters is 'city'.

i tried dechiphering read my thread heiroglyphs and someguy claiming to be an expert on heiroglyphs said they were gibberish

a link might be helpful..

problem is he's thinking the wrong language...

when you hear the word "Hieroglyphics", what do you automatially think of?

egyptian i guess but he said they are egyptian even though i had a hunch sumerian cause of the other sumerian stuff

each bird at the top of the picture means large. AnonymousPoster4 you are correct on the circle with the "X" in it does mean city/village/town/egypt. the half circles where the round part is pointing up equal the letter "T". the 3 gliphs in the lower left starting with the snake could mean "eternity" but im not to sure on that. the dark circle resembles the egyption gliph of the circle with the lines threw it which stand for the letters "KH". two gliphs down from the upper left hand bird stands for the letters "SH". the gliph diaginal from the bird in the upper left stands for the letters "MA". under the bird that is in the middle of the three birds, that gliph im comfedent stands for arm or crease. also the box to the left of the city gliph is the letter "P" but im not to sure on that one. ill get on the rest but they are going to take a wile not sure how much help this is going to be but if it is let me know ill keep working. (the work is exosting lol i love it keep it coming)

problem is the egyptian Hieroglyphs, and Sumerian pictograms are very similar...but i do believe they are sumerian...

thats the best i can do in traslation now just remember what we find in not always going to make sence

I remember somewhere that you read the gliphs in the directions the faces (ie of the birds) are facing. so they are read whichever way that is.

That was for egyptian though. possibly sumerian too?
