Hey ATS, this is a video i found a website you may now. Its a bit long, a shows a girl in collage or university being arrested.

If you ask me, that force was beyond unnecessary.

Claims of threats. I kind of skipped through to tell you the truth, so im not really sure all of what was said.

The police were called because she's an adult acting like a child. C'mon, you have to act like that in college. Wow, there is debate then there is acting like you still in da hood.....between the language and the disruptive actions...she got what she deserved.

Not really, i agree she was not acting as in your perspective, she should have been, but there was no reason for force.

Woah. Why were the police called again?

Threatening other students (at least one, maybe more)
Disturbing class, refusing to leave when asked
Volatile actions and potentially threatening conduct towards the Instructor

*Dumb girl should have restrained herself and realized it wasn't high school BEFORE cops got called. I seriously can't decide if I want to laugh at her, or dismiss her...

This was just on my local news. Not excessive force at all. She resisted arrest after screaming at the teacher for 30 mins. Her boyfriend even tried to take her outside to talk some sense in her but she refused. The video clearly shows her resisting arrest. The person who filmed this went on record saying that she resisted arrest.

I have no sympathy for this girl.During the video she even admits to threatening some girl.Shes loud and was even asked to leave.I think the police were fine in this and I'm surprised it took that long for the police to be called in there.

Oh i was expecting someone being tazed - with arcs of electicity shooting out of every orifice - while thrashing around like a fish out of water.

This was tame!

100% agree. she obviously is disrupting the class and for anyone who watched the video the teacher specifically told her "I told you we can finish this conversation later after class" but the retarded girl won't shut up and then resists arrest. I thought the cops did an awesome job and honestly I wish they would have tazed her because they don't need to be patient with someone who refuses to follow officer's directions.

Beautiful! She got just what she deserved. This is one of those loud mouthed, entitlement kind who think the whole world is out to get them, and they are going to set everybody straight. Looks like it wasn't her day to play the Princess card though!

Maybe she should have watched this:

Chris Rock

Can't get the darned video to embed!

Wait, Ebaum's World? Is this suddenly a quality news source? Have I been missing the internet for the last ten years?

For all those saying she got what she deserved:

You also got what you deserved, if you think that being a princess or a douchbag, gives your goverment to right the arrest you for it.
So dont whine when your civil liberties are taken away, and you get fined / arrested for things you never got trouble for before.

So what if she's a little whiny and stupid? Does that mean they can arrest her for it?

Is she really a threat to society? Is there a risk of coming one day to campus, climing a roof with automatic weapons and start picking off her least favorite people?

Get real people.

Maybe you missed the part where she admitted to threatening another student in class... hmmm?

Doesn't jive on campus, that will get the cops called.

She deserved it. People in this country don't understand that teachers are not going to break up fights anymore. All they have to do is call campus police and they can take care of you.

Well, I guess I did, but even so, where I come from, people dont get arrested for saying "shut up or i'll kick your ass" - specially not students, but I guess we dont have "Columbine" incindents here also...

She should have gotten out with detention or somthing similar in my opinion

They don't have that at colleges. Like I said it's not the teachers job to take a student outta of class. They can ask the student to leave and if they don't they call the campus police and they escort them out. The real world is really ugly and it's the people who are the ugly ones.

You are right in that it is not a crime to be obnoxious. However, trespassing is a crime. An individual who is not welcome in a classroom is trespassing. A disruptive student becomes a trespasser when that student wears out their welcome in the classroom.

Remember that women can be more dangerous that a wild animal when they go absolutely crazy. Very rare though.
