The second coming of Christ is fairly specific. While I think it's possible that it was meant as just an expression, he could have and probably would have used a better one such as "all hell is going to break loose" as suggested by liveandletlive.

Whatever it may mean, it definitely does not sound good. I highly doubt that if it was the actual second coming of Christ, that our corrupt government would be the ones rolling out the welcome mat.

My opinion of this is either:

Anti-Christ
Code words for something else, maybe civil war/unrest?
Alien disclosure?
Pure BS?

Not sure who you are referring to but I never once said he was referring to the actual return of Jesus. I made that very clear numerous times throughout this thread already. That was what was literally said to him and many others. Take it for what you will. I wish I knew more but I don't and I was only offered so much info on this.

I have read the replies and its clear to me some people think it refers to the actual coming of Christ. I don’t want the thread being derailed by religious distraction. The thread is important because of the info presented. When added to other info it paints a picture.

Don't take it personally, we're just applying a bit of critical thinking to your experience. This site would not be what it is if people didn't question evidence.

I have one more question for the OP. And I am not jumping on you
or being mean. I am curios as to one thing. If your uncle told you this,
and I am sure he did, I would think that this would be given to you in
total confidence. Why would you jump on ATS and say something
that your uncle might not want you to repeat? And if he was "cherry
picked" from among thousands, why would he dispose of ANY info
to ANYONE, including you?

I know when I was in the military, I had a Secret Clearance and I was
afraid to say the slightest thing even to my immediate family members,
and I didn't. True, your uncle might have meant something to the effect
that something major is about to happen and used the term Christ will
be returning to emphasize his point. But again, why would he say anything
at all with his special status?

Well with your Uncle being Military and this meeting with Military, I would suspect they are talking about the possibility of WW3. The second coming of Christ is in the End Times, Armageddon type scenario.

With everything going on in the Middle East and with Iran, they probably see the SHTF and want to be prepared.

I found this story very interesting and dead on with what is happening in the world. Thanks OP for sharing and please keep on sharing any info you might find out...

EDIT TO ADD: Could it possibly be that the government knows of a meteorite that might hit the Earth? Just thinking End Times stuff...

This is a good theory. Or perhaps Christ is Aliens, and the reference is to either them making their presence known, or the Gov disclosing?

Good questions. I talk to my uncle whenever he comes home, and quite often when I can. We have been very close for a long time. I actually asked him if it was ok if I talked about what he had said. And for this reason I listed that I had very limited info. I can assure you what was said was all legit, and very limited because of said reason. No, he doesn't even know what ATS is I asked him...My uncle is kind of old you could say, and although I remember him being the first person in my family with a computer, way back in the early 80s, he was never one for much internet usage...Hell he probably fears what is coming too, whatever it may be, and if he could he probably would share more with me. What I have disclosed is all information that is not classified or he would have not told me in the first place. By the way all 3 of my uncles are either Captains or Chief Engineers and all are very careful about what they say.

Edit: This is why I thought what was said was very curious, and came here with the information to see what the community could make of it. I think we already have some good theories and one stands out above all others at this point in my mind.

I think it might be that it is a combined disclosure/Jesus thing.

Jesus was probably an alien, as they must have found out by now with all the interaction of governments with aliens. The aliens probably told them that they are going to make a mass showing soon, and to prepare. With this they will announce that Jesus was really an alien, along with that aliens were the ones who put us here in the first place. I think that he probably used "the second coming of Jesus Christ" truthfully, but he actually lied a bit through omission. He just didn't tell you ALL of the truth.

Just my guess.

That makes no sense. And what I have given for info is most likely all you will get. Sorry but I am not into endangering my own family so you can feel informed. If I come across anything else, like I ALREADY stated, I will let you all know. This is not going to turn into the "Can I ask Navy Captain questions" thread.
