OHHHHHH... You are so right OP...we should all shuffle off our kids to GOVERNMENT RUN school to learn all about evolution, socialism, Obama priase, and humanism for eight hours a day, 7 days a week. BUT let's not DARE teach them about morals, God, family values, and social responsibility...THAT WOULD BE CHILD ABUSE.

You blind hypocrits. "My child can make up their own minds." REALLY...

Do you take them to church then and let them listen to the sermons to DECIDE if they accept it or not... I doubt it Commies. You would rather have the GOV. crame lies down their little throats and call it "open minded." Man the hypocracy reeks like death.

Actually, God wants to know He has your soul - but He does leave that choice up to you. At birth, we are all born into sin - thanks to Adam - lol. But that is where Jesus comes in -

..but only if you accept Him. You can reject Him all the way through life til your death - but please try to keep in mind, that we all will have to spend eternity with one or the other - God or satan.
But no, no one is, or will, force you to choose God - that is up to you.

Considering that our kindergarten children are now being "indoctrinated" with teachings involving homosexuality, and abortion, etc........ I'd say it's a good idea to teach your children - before satan has a chance to.

And yes, the homosexual "agenda" is being taught in our schools - all levels - it's been discussed on ATS many times - and will continue to be discussed as it is an outrage for any parent, or even non parents.

That sorry canard "the homosexual agenda" again. Do you even know what the so-called "homosexual agenda" is? It's that they be treated like every other person in the US and have the same rights. No more, no less.

You should research the USA's Safe School Czar's "agenda" and get back with me on your doubts about the "homosexual agenda".

It is a real eye opener. I posted some links a page or so back.

Teaching them morals in the bible and making them preach is a whole different story. I bet you those kids don't understand 3/4 of what is in the bible. They don't have the experience to be able to understand what the real message is behind the teachings. I am 23 and have a hard time finding the message in the bible. What makes you think a 10 year old will understand it?

The best way to practice the bible is through experience. Take for example, someone who has been working in a trade for years who has built up experience vs someone fresh out of college. The person from college can tell you the theory but will generally have a harder time applying it to real life. With experience you gain the ability to understand things to a greater extent.

I think this makes sense.

This is disturbing footage. It most definitely IS child abuse...

As parents, it is OUR responsibilities to worry about our 'souls' and the 'souls' of our children. The only responsibilities a child should have is to learn and have fun being a kid. I mean, childhood goes by so fast and to waste it on something like this???

I compare this situation to those stupid beauty pageants that moms force their daughters to participate in. Has anyone seen that HBO documentary on that? Ugh

Oh, and did anyone see how the 'pope' says HE FORGIVES THOSE MOLESTED CHILDREN FOR MAKING THOSE PRIESTS MOLEST THEM??

WHAT. A. JOKE. But Im not laughing.

How do you propose we leave God out of the discussion?

For a moment I thought I was going to be born again by an ATS member. All hail J K Rowling - Satan incarnate.

For those that think that these children are being "indoctrinated" - it's ironic that the United States Safe School Czar Kevin Jennings has quite a few "extremely graphic" eh, "literary works" listed on his "Recommended Reading List".

What are the books you ask? I can give you the titles - but due to the content, I can't post the summaries. Yes, they are THAT vulgar.

You can click HERE and pick which link you want to view to see the graphic details. And as you'll see, the content of these books would be considered "hard pornography" by most everyone.

Here is one of the websites summary of what they found in the books:

We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview. Source

Here are a few of the books' summaries - WARNING: Graphic Content.

Is this what you would prefer your children to be hearing and taught?

Who is Kevin Jennings you ask? You can pick a link, most which include includes mentions of NAMBLA, HERE

The Bible tells us, the believers, to judge righteously.

That "Judge thou not" line has been taken out of context - like most all of the other overused lines.

So you are saying that gospel of Luke is somehow misleading then? How has it been taken out of context? Oh how often we see "believers" to twist Bible according their own needs...

Here, Let me quote you directly from Bible:

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them.

And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full.

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Luke 6: 31-38 : Emphasis by v01i0

So then, maybe you subscribe more with Judaism, rather than Christianity. It is all right, but if you claim to follow teaching of Jesus, maybe you should practice more reading comprehension.

I'm sorry, but mainstream Christianity is right in the same basket at the rest of the corrupt world- they just hide behind Jesus to do it.

I think a LOT of you "Christians" are gonna be blown out of your socks when Jesus comes back and gives you the heave ho.

No matter what translation you use (though you might consider a better one) you are not quoting the laws of Christians. These are the old laws that became null and void after Jesus Christ entered the world. If you want to "prove" to Christians that their faith is hateful then you need to quote directly from the New Testament.

While I don't agree with these children preachers I don't think it's any different than the father that wraps his infant son in a Raiders onesie and indoctrinates him into football, or the mother that takes her daughter to the mall every week to indoctrinate her into being a materialistic consumer. Public schools indoctrinate children into the cult of the status quo and nobody cries foul but a child full of religious passion is considered brainwashed?

Children are capable of making moral decisions. When I was a child I chose to become a vegetarian. Nobody forced me, no one I knew was a vegetarian. It was a personal choice made with my own developing moral fiber. Guess what? People had similar reactions to me that some people are having towards the children in these videos.

I went thru a similar (tho different) thing:
My parents tried to teach me to drink, smoke, cuss (I curse like a sailor, but it's because my established control has been wiped out), and I refused them at every turn, making my life a living hell. It was decisions *I* made, all by my lonesome (meaning no influence from family members). Influence from God? Maybe. The jury is still out, due to extenuating circumstances.

I am willing to bet a lot of those kids in those videos had what they are showing off beaten into them, guilted into them, and driven into them- and I am willing to bet that when they hit their teens and/ or later life, they will have broken at least 3/4 of the 10 commandments... Just because they needed release.

You're crazy.

Did the OP mention Obama, Socialism, Humanism, the Government, Communism, or any of these other things your little conservative mind is so afraid of?

No. No, they didn't.

There was no "hypocrisy" in the post at all. No person taking an anti-Fundamentalist viewpoint in this thread has said anything at all like what you are implying.

This thread does not claim that instead of conservative Christian brainwashing, we should subject kids to liberal Humanist brainwashing.

It says we should NOT SUBJECT KIDS TO BRAINWASHING. period.

Is that so hard to understand? Do you not get that just because we oppose you does not mean that we use the same brutal, inhuman tactics that you do?

Seriously. Read the thread again. Point out to me some examples of Socialist extremism or "Obama-praise".

Do it.

That's where you're wrong. There's soooooo many people that live good lives, are helping their community, and don't commit any crimes...and they're NOT Christians. You don't HAVE to be Christian to be good and have a life that isn't miserable. To think so is very arrogant imo.

Also, you often say stuff like "I rather have them be indoctrinated than shoot drugs at 5". Life isn't about finding God or turning into an addict or bad person as the only alternative. You can be perfectly happy without believing.

This says 7 through 12 - but it doesn't matter if it was just seniors - it's still porn anyway you cut it.

From this website:

Yesterday, we reported that Barack Obama’s Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings and his GLSEN organization were promoting a book to children that included a pornographic image of men having sex while boy scouts looked on. The day before that we reported that Kevin Jennings’ organization GLSEN was promoting a children’s book that detailed first-graders having sex. kevin_jennings-older As founder and executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) Jennings approved of and promoted several filthy sex books for children. Scott Baker from Breitbart-TV.com and Co-Host of ‘The B-Cast‘ submitted a shocking report to Gateway Pundit blog back on December 4, 2009. The report detailed the reading list promoted to 7-12 grade students by Kevin Jennings’ GLSEN organization. This material has not been reported in detail at Big Government website. Remember as you read this that Kevin Jennings is today the nation’s Safe Schools Czar.

You are correct - they will have broken probably 3/4 of the Commandments - but not because they needed "release" - but rather because they are human, just like you, me and every one else.

Where do non believers get the notion that Christians think they are "perfect"??

And I agree with you on that there are billions and billions of people that probably live very constructive lives - helping their community, no crimes, donating to all the fundraisers....... but being "good" doesn't gain anyone entry into God's Heaven. It just doesn't work that way - it's not based on "works" alone. Works are a part of it as we are instructed to live Godly lives, helping your neighbors, etc - but just being good isn't what will get you there.

And I agree with you on that BILLIONS and BILLIONS of people are perfectly "happy" without believing - couldn't agree with you more.

But just a reminder - satan will deceive people into believing that they are happy and have no need for God.

Just be alert is all I'm saying - determine if you are following the mass general public - which there will be more not make it to Heaven than those that will.

And too, what exactly are you doing right now in your life, or want to do in the future, that God would ruin that "fun" for you?

Stealing? Murder? Incest? Bestiality? Lying? Vanity? Pride? Worshiping another "god"? Prostitution? Adultery? Slander? Jealousy?

What is God keeping you "from"?
