I originally posted this in the 1940's hipster thread but decided it needed its own thread since that one has demorolized into a BTS thread pretty much.

This picture came from Bucknell University's history department so I doubt it is a photoshop fake.
Now the picture:

Young Lads were used as drummer boys in the Army, I don't see anything special about this picture.

I see nothing out of the ordinary.

What makes you think they are time travelers?

I don't think the clothes look modern.

Nor do I think he looks out of place. Plus why would they send a kid back in time?

If what you are looking at are the ghost-like images seen here and there....

Civil War era photographic plates required long exposure times.
Someone could walk through the scene without showing up in the photograph at all. If they paused for a few seconds, you get the 'ghost' image.

Sorry, catching up here, I see the boy. Don't notice anything modern, def can't see tennis shoes there.

Andrew Basiago has some really wacky stuff out on the net. Seems like he's not too believable to me.

I see nothing strange in that photo. Since the link is broken could we get some info about this? I've been looking for a few minutes now and see nothing out of the ordinary. Looks like many pictures from what I suppose is the Civil War era, a blurry picture on a broken plate.

Lucky we even have that much as many plates were broken after the war and many pictures were lost.

I live 15 minutes from Gettysburg. They do a reinactment every year. Ive actually reinacted for a short time. It's normal to see 'plain' clothed ppl on the fields, especially before the reinactment and parade. Not all family members participate but enjoy 'camping' for the wknd with those who do. Ive done it myself. Besides that, they have tents with stuff to sell in the 'camp'. Sorry, it'd be awesome and a real find if it were true.

I'm listening to the youtube link posted here right now...I would have liked to beleive this guy but the first thing he says is there is life on mars...I know that's a crock...so he probably is too. I am disappointed, I would love to know time travel were possible and that we had the tech...still waiting for proof.

I believe this picture to be real and not a hoax or a present time picture of a renactment.
I found the photo at Bucknell University History department so it shouldn't be photoshopped.
