I just sent an e-mail to our Va. Attorney General, If you've ever bitched or moaned on ATS about the Fed. taking over the U.S., YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME.

Mr. Cuccinelli,

On behalf of my wife and myself, I would like to thank you most sincerely for being one of Virginia's only elected officials willing to stand up for the people of VA. concerning the insanity that has been coming from Washington D.C. (Rep's & Dem's)

Please Sir, I encourage you to continue your battle and know that when you stand for our Constitution, we will stand for and with you.

Sincerely,

Even if your state in not on board yet, SEND THEM AN E-MAIL & ASK WHY!

Don't ya know, I really wanted to say so much more.

This is how a real revolution takes place. It always starts with the law, and if the people can win with the law then it requires only that we remain vigilant. If the law can't do it, the it is up to the people to gather en masse and push the crooks out by force if necessary.

What I find most offensive about this whole ordeal is that they used healthcare, one of the most important issues to us as Americans, as a vehicle to violate the Constitution while bailing out an insolvent insurance industry. This cannot stand. Their mandate makes us SLAVES to the insurance industry and all other industry, and it is the very reason why this bill is such a threat to liberty.

Message sent.

This def. was not a bailout of an "insolvent" insurance industry IMO. What evidence supports this? Nothing that I have seen regarding medical insurers (CIGNA,AETNA..etc) earnings have shown this. Where did you come about this information?

The insurance industry in this country gambles in derivatives as well. Or was AIG not a big enough signal? It's not just the health wing but nearly all insurance. It's the reason why people have been getting dropped off their books at record numbers.

I don't think so my friend

I don't think you can prove this at all and according to earnings before this I don't think you can come up with one major insurer with a negative (-) earnings number.

If you can even find one I would be impressed over the past 4 quarters even trying to find one with negative earnings, or less than 0 I mean. Why would you assume that health insurers are big into OTC Derivative market? Can you link that to something credible?

For the time being I cannot. It is a working theory. But it has seemed to have been panning out for a while. Just like the banks, te insurance companies are REALLY good at papering over losses while seeming to make gains. When unemployment kept climbing at 600,000 plus per month the companies later posted better earnings. As the insurance industry continues to shed clients it will continue to post earnings until they start to dry up their pool. They need cash because they too are in major debt.

I'm currently examining financial reports from several insurance companies, there is a thread in the works on the matter which will be posted in a couple of days. Once I find what I'm looking for that is. Like the banks many insurance giants across the country have been using accounting similar to that of AIG, B of A, and Freddie Mac.

You can look at earnings reports all you want, but they're designed to paint the best picture possible, which is why many of these crooks have gotten away with this. But for some kind of clarity I will post this article, which is what led me to my current investigation:

Well you will have nothing concrete until then IMO. If you indeed do find a correlation you might be the first to know it. I think it will be tough.

But IMO it doesn't fly at least without a (-) report. GL

It wouldn't be the first time I've been the first to know. I certainly do my research. I should tell you however that it is very rare that I levy a charge without sources, I usually wait until those sources make themselves known. But in this case expediency is key. There is a lot of circumstancial data pointing in favor of my theory, in the mean time however, I must stand firm with my assertion as this entire scenario seems to have already been played out.

Sometimes I just wanna say screw it! Quit working, paying my mortgage and everything else I've done all my life to be a good middle class contributing American.
That way I can get free food stamps, welfare money, health care , housing and not have to stress out about being a responsible, respectable contributing member of society.

Bitching and moaning about the fed takeover is not going to get it. Letter writing campaigns to elected officials aren't going to get it neither.

What is going to get it is a massive change in the mentality of the American citizen. The same kind of change that brought this great nation into existance 234 years ago.

Who's up for this kind of change? I'm for one. Who's with me?

And your post on ATS is not going to get it. I at least have contacted every one of my representatives to let them know how I as a citizen in their district or state feel about what they're doing and how I will vote for them based on their decisions.

5 o'clock, I don't have any intention of irritating you. I don't have any idea of how old you are but that's besides the point. What I'm trying to convey here is that letter writing doesn't do anything to correct the situation that we've presently got in Washington DC. Any letter that gets to any representative is merely chosen out of the tens of thousands for its uniqueness. If you were answered it was because their aides replied to you. Believe me. In years past, I've written my representatives on several different issues and although these elected officials often agreed with me, the things that they're up against in Washington are factors that are too powerful for several representatives and senators to handle.

Like I said, I don't have any intention of arguing your point here. I'd rather not discuss what I'm doing "beside talking." Let me point out that "talking" is a way of communication. A means of communication that's been around since humans first started talking. Talking transfers ideas from one person to another.Talking transfers ideas whether one is listening or a thousand is listening. I'm in no way saying that your method is not working. Letter writing campaigns are good but first one must have support of the common people before you have the support of officials. That's the "only reason" you posted is it not?

Fight lawyers w/ lawyers..

This is the only thing that I'll argue about. Lawyers don't give one damn about anyone except their pockets. Listen to me, lawyers do not give one damn about you or me. Not when it comes to what this threads about and this thread is about replacing the socialists that's been elected to represent us is it not?

Plus, what's the difference between a dead dog in the road and a dead lawyer in the road?

Answer: The dead dog has skid marks in front of it.

Don't get me wrong. What you're doing is not a bad thing (letter writing). I just refuse to believe that politicians care about what we put down on paper. It's my belief that they care about angry citizens coming at them phsically in droves.

And please, next time, don't yell at me. It will be greatly appreciated and good luck to your cause.

P.S. I've done plenty in my life and still doing so. I've come to find out when one speaks to a brick wall, that's all they're doing.
