Who would have thought that big screens could get even better.....

www.physorg.com...

The process that lights up big-screen plasma TV displays is getting a new life in producing ultra-clean fuels, according to a report here today at the 239th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS). It described a small, low-tech, inexpensive device called a GlidArc reactor that uses electrically-charged clouds of gas called "plasmas" to produce in three steps super-clean fuels from waste materials. One is a diesel fuel that releases 10 times less air pollution than its notoriously sooty, smelly conventional counterpart.

So everybody check it out!

All well and good if they put it into practice.

I have not seen one thing from the past year go into good use as far as clean energy is concerned. Even that Bloom Box (or whatever it's called) hasn't made a lot of progress into the Households of the Normal, everyday people.

What really cracks me up is Mankind has had free energy from the Sun since the Sun shined upon the earth. How many people have Solar Panels on their roof? How many power stations, made from Solar Collectors and Panels are there?

See, everybody talks about free energy and CLEAN Energy, but it's another thing to put it to use.
