I typed this in response to another thread, but I love myself so I'll make a new thread....

Insurance Companies (IC) are exactly like Labor Unions (LU). They are third party parasites.

The pure labor formula contains an employer and an employee. The employer bids for labor in the open unrestricted labor market. The employee chooses freely where to work.

The pure payment system formula contains a payer and a payee. The payer is giving money to the payee for goods or services. Each chooses to be involved or not involved in the transaction based upon things such as quality of the goods or desirability of the service when compared to other sources of the same or similar service.

Now enter the third party parasites. The LU will attach itself to the labor formula by claiming to be a benefit to the employee. They are actually a detriment to the employee and employer both. The purpose of the LU is to destroy the employer. I know you find that odd and difficult to understand, but you must think about this logically. If the LU destroys the employer then there will always be another employer ready to take the place of the previous one. The LU is feeding off an endless chain of employers and employees, not for the benefit of either, but for the benefit of the LU and the LU's group. It is similar to a farmer who slaughters cows to eat the beef. The farmer knows that more cows are growing up to replace the slaughter cows. The cows never win.

The IC attaches itself to the payment formula of, for example, health services or auto repair services. Let's talk about health services for this discussion. These health services already exist. The IC does not create health services or give health services to you. They do nothing but attach themselves to the host of health service providers and health services consumers. Why do they do this? To control the host even if it causes death. The problems we are experiencing in the health field are all directly related to the IC that have conspired to rig the cost structure. The doctor is forced to accept the patients with health insurance, or the patients will go elsewhere. A doctor can't survive on cash payments alone because so few people will pay cash. Most everybody is looking to pay via health insurance plans. So the doctor is forced to take insured patients. There is no alternative but failure. The people who would rather pay cash are caught up in a vicious cycle of rising prices that will serve to frustrate them and cause them to also want health insurance. Then they too are trapped in the game. So the doctors and the patients are all wrangled into the game and sucked dry by the parasite.

We are experiencing the spoliation that Egypt experienced. And we all know how that turned out. The Americans are being robbed of their inheritance and birth right and wealth and innocence by the alien parasite. Just like the Egyptians were spoiled and ruined by the alien parasite that took over administration of their country.

Well stated JohnnyCanuck, For £4.00 a week i get excellent cover from my trade union including legal advise if i need it. For people who slate the trade unions think what it would be like if there was none, Representatives who give up their own time to represent their work colleagues. I am lucky i work in an "old school" workplace were there's good dialogue, So less conflict between management and the rank and file members.
We have contractors (no trade union) working along side us and the way there treated (hire an fire) is a disgrace..

insurance companies are not parasites they are worst &$%$^* for the children` s sake.
here in Canada we have what is called NO FAULT INSURANCE -there is no fault for any accident or charge so the government and insurance rolled it out this way. DON`T BET ON IT .
have an accident and up it goes .
get a ticket and up it goes .
the corporate bottom line must be outstripped and surpassed as the STOCK HOLDER`S pockets come before you the insured.
CASE IN POINT .
3 friends of mine just got into their car which was parked in front of the 1 friends house. around the bend comes a lady flying at excessive speed in a 50 km zone[30 mph] she broad sided the car and pushed it sidways 40 feet into a telephone pole . she was charged with 2 charges.the witnesses all said that when she hit them her wheels were still spinning and that no brakes were applied.
friend #1 owns the hit car but she was not driving. friend 2 was driving and is licensed.. friend 3 was a passenger in the back seat.
friend 3 gets a phone call from the woman that was charged insurance company telling her that because of NO FAULT she has to sue friend #1 whose car it is,even though the car was in park and not moving.the driver friend #2 can`t get sued.
friend #3 who was the passenger gets a letter from from friend #1 car insurance company, stating that she has the right to sue them -get this one -
the INSURANCE COMPANY IN ALL IT`S COMPASSION has a $30,000.00 deductible on whatever she is awarded in the civil suit -this is the passenger
WHY IS IT WE PAY INSURANCE so that they the INSURANCE company can claw back what ever we are awarded . i went through my whole policy after this and guess what i found -there is no amount of deductible for an accident not even in the fine print.the only deductible there is what you pay as your deductible to get your vehicle fixed. ALL IT SAYS IS THERE THERE IS A DEDUCTIBLE AMOUNT WHICH IS NOT STATED ANYWHERE .
p.s. they insured the car for say $ 8,000.00 value they paid her out $2,500.00 for her car . i`ll bet the other woman`s INSURANCE COMPANY paid her INSURANCE COMPANY $8,000.00 for that car.
so friend #1 got screwed even though friend # 3 did not sue.
FRIEND #1 NOW HAS AN ACCIDENT ON HER DRIVING RECORD THROUGH NO FAULT OF HERS .
all compliments of GORE MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY in Canada.
WE ARE ALL ROYALLY SCREWED ONCE AGAIN.
