Sorry, but there are people in the US that just aren't going to take well to being told to get health insurance, or else.

Here's the link. Video won't embed for some suspicious reason. www.youtube.com...

This isn't about black, white or conservative or liberal, male or female.

It's about the government, against the people. The government wants God like control over it's people. Yes, the government believes they own us.

What they don't understand is the people who DON'T work for the government are KINGS in this country.

Keep pushing US into the corner. Be careful what you wish for.

You are correct. I enjoy when the partisan zombies start throwing around talking points of thier party.

So let's see. Mandated NEW moneies in the form of covergae to be paid to the insurance companies, gov't will do away with the most expensive treatments in order to "cut costs" ( for whom by the way?), gov't will use taxpayer money to subsidize private insurance through insurance companies, it will take 500 million from medicare to help subsidize private insurance mandates, doesn't mandate portability (which means private monopolies are still in place), removes pre-existing conditions allowing for increase in overall premiums while cutting down on procedures that could remove said ailment instead relying on ongoing treatments, cut's monies paid out to providers through gov't medicine programs + the fact that this is all wrapped up in a governmental program (aka politicians involved)= RECORD PROFITS FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES! This bill has NOTHING to do with helping anyone other than the politicians and insurance company exec's to line thier pockets at the expense of our freedom. Once again the Republicratic party has duped you again.
Edit to add: plus increased copyrights length for Big Pharma which means more income from brand name meds for a longer period. Yes those bad, bad companies are gonna be taught a lesson by our republicratic champions of America!

Your estimations are not at all true...also yes aon a 15 hr job you can afford some insurance coverage. And if you cant there is already in place programs that fill in the gaps.

At 15 and hour you make roughly $3000 gross a month. I would say that maybe the toys, the games, the credit cards, even the cellphones need to be set aside first, and as individuals you take care of the essentials like health insurance, instead of demanding that the rest of us pay for it for you.

I am calling on you and everyone here to debate this issue of facts not on emotions or speculations.

This poll supports my "emotional" estimate.
homebusiness.about.com.../od/money/a/health_ins_poll.htm&poll_id=6243047085

155 people polled. 52% no insurance, 48% with some form of insurance.

Again your not reading what I said...the fact is that a person with a 15/hr job can indeed afford insurance...its called budgeting and spending wisely.

Who do you think you are to think that I should pay for your insurance? Thats my whole point. Indeed there are many out there who dont have insurance but for many thats because they choose to spend their money on other things like fun, entertainment, cell phone plans, video games...

I shouldnt have to subsidize their income with the money that I earn...I pay for my own healthcare insurance...it costs me hundreds each month to keep my family covered.

At 36,000 a year which is a 15/hr job... you should be able to get yourself covered....period.

The government shouldnt be able to make me give you money to acheieve something that you can do on your own.

On the contrary there were many of our founding fathers who were very reluctant to revolt against england. They debated the issue of reform or revolution for a number of years as colonies before they descided to kick the redcoats out.

Talk is good, as long as it leads to eventual action. We arent there yet. The system can be saved if people in our country rise up and take responsability for thems selves, not require the government to hold their hands, and vote in some people with character.
