I am not sure if this has been posted before if so I apologise.

I have just found this and I wanted to share this with everyone I knew. Breath taking slide show of our fragile earth

The photos in these slideshow really put everything, especially human life into perspective when I look at these.

Please leave your thoughts and let me know if you feel the same way.

These are my favourites:

Really nice photos there, I wouldn't say they depict a fragile earth, but definitely put human life in perspective. You couldn't even begin to count how many people have come and gone in the ages that those glaciers have been around.

For anybody who is wondering they are of a huge network of glaciers in Patagonia, Argentina.

For me personally I don't often get that sense of insignificance from photos, I would much rather see it in person. Although, learning about space really does have that effect on me.

We are so tiny in the grand scheme of things. We do have an exceptionally beautiful planet though, or did, its a pity some parts of it have been ruined.

No your right there fedupofitall, but I thought as these pictures were so breathtaking and that the topic they were mentioned in to me was about fragile earth I thought it apt to put up here in that section. Incidently which forum would you put them up in?

The reason I ask is that I have another absolutely stunning slideshow of icebergs and ice cliffs, simply jaw dropping.
