I dont see how the government can afford $100 billion a year for health care when the country is in a recession right now

New Health Care Bill will cost about $100 billion a year. This is about the yearly cost of the Iraq War.

Whats next is total economic collapse.....

I wouldn't expect any major legislation for a while. This health care bill was a mental beat down for all those involved, whether D or R. I would expect that we will see a calm for a while.

Next: My guess is the financial industry or energy

It's already started actually.

At Washington's immigration reform march, a warning from Latinos

Let me ask you this question. Do you think health care reform is the worst or this immigration reform would be worse.

How does the fed putting the high risk pools into the taxpayers lap and forcing everyone else to buy into an insurance plan = "insurance companies lost"?

Does the fed putting high risk burdon on taxpayers sound familiar at all? Freddie and Fannie ring a bell? I suppose that = "banks lost"?

I am pretty sure, it's already all over the news, before the healthcare bill was even passed, that people were rallying in DC for immigration reform and Obama has stated that it will be his next priority.

I have no idea what that means for us (that is, I can speculate all day long but until some ideas are drafted up I can't speak with any authority) - but I bet, whatever it is, it won't be good.

[edit] Ah, I forgot to mention the biometric worker identification card is to be included in immigration reform. Coming soon to a fascist oligarchy near you! [/edit]

This neo-socialism is actually worse than the regular kind because you not only do you have to pay for regular welfare but corporate welfare too. I imagine the goal of the people pushing it is to keep the people who are already at the top at the top and the people who are at the bottom of society at the bottom.

Their probably going to tell us what we can and cant eat now. say good bye to your fast foods and sugary sweets.

I hope im wrong though. they shouldnt start telling people what to eat. It should be our choice, not theirs.

im afraid this is no longer a free country

Yeah that's a real possibility. Australia is more or less a test ground for NWO policy and they are currently considering "fat taxes" and what not. You still have guns right? Well that is sure to be on the agenda too.

It wasn't "them" who got health care, it was all Americans. Next we dismantle Social Security, it just stopped working last month. If you didn't know, you were forced into Social Security. Millionairs got billions out of it.
