For me, everything about Obama inspires confidence. Everything he says sounds presidential. People post their rhetoric here on unlikely revolutions, but Obama is a real revolutionary.

It is terrifying when they bypass House procedure to pass it. I do not condone my government breaking its own laws, especially the ones that keep them from going mad with power.

This Healthcare bill is a load of garbage from start to finish.
Who do you think is going to be paying for this crap? We are, the American taxpayer. The taxpayer who doesn't have the ability to pay for taxes anymore simply because of a crap economy that went down the toilet decades ago. (Carter administration anyone?)
We're still in a poor economy, this thing isn't going to pay for itself and we sure as hell are only digging ourselves a deeper hole than before.
This whole measure was passed under the nose of the American public with all of the focus on the Healthcare bill being "what America needs" while they ignore the fact of the state of the economy.
This entire fiasco is filled with lies, treachery, trashing of the Constitution(like usual), and meanwhile we have these retards who believe that this is somehow going to help us?

Washington DC, instead of putting on more controls why not take the opposite and loosen up what is already in place? You've been choking America for a long time now and yet you still don't seem to get the message that choking the patient doesn't do any good to help them breathe.

It is amazing that more voted to leave the abortion on demand funding provisions in the bill than what voted to pass the bill itself. Anyone getting that? They would rather abort you then have you as medical expense.

It's good news for older people who are still under the age of 65 and for people with pre-existing conditions. It's good news, but not great news for anyone who thinks they may have a chance to get old.

Let's keep working on it and get the public options asap to give the health care industry some competition. Ultimately I hope we get a national health care service for every citizen of the USA. At least we're getting something started and I thank every person in Congress and the President for doing the right thing as opposed to the safe thing (doing nothing) as far as their careers or second terms go.

the democrats were fighting with eachother, they had the power to pass this all along but they were being the self serving hypocrites they proved themselves to be. The Repubs could never stop them. The dems made life a living hell for themselves.
