Dem Congressman On Health Bill: Insurance Companies Are "Holding Hostages"

infowars.net
A Democratic Congressman has stated that he will refuse to vote yes on the pending health care reform bill, declaring that the legislation represents a vastly bloated giveaway to insurance companies and big pharma.

Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA) asserts that the Senate bill bankrolls the very companies that president Obama says are taking advantage of the American people.

“We’ve paid the ransom, but at the end of the day the insurance companies are still holding the hostages,’’ Lynch said in an interview with The Boston Globe yesterday.

Exactly, all alone this been the biggest bailout for the private insurance business with government law blessing.

The biggest give away was the "mandate" the second give away was the way that the previous bills were written the penalties and fees along with the "mandate" came from the private insurance companies.

People were lie too giving the false sense that it was socialism so everybody will fight the public option that was to compete with the private insurance, all along is nothing but forcing free citizens to buy private insurance by law.

This nations government is not longer for the people, we have a corporate run government that is gouging, lying and robbing this nations citizens for corporate profits while selling our childrens freedom and legacy to foreign interest.

That is what people doesn't understand and can not digest.

The industry has been getting hammerd on other threads. We still must get around at some point to the overfeed health care industry itself.............but in the meantime a congressman said to day just a little whiel ago that Ted Kennedy was looking down...but that is not possible.

I think it is depressing that people actually believe they are wanting to pass this bill for the good of the people.

Not surprising when most think of it as a freebie.

IMO, this bill does nothing to address the high costs of healthcare.

Hey, but its free healthcare.

Yep the Freedom movement has been hijacked. NO to government spending, backed by corporate news. YES to health care backed by corporate news. Meanwhile, corporations are taking all the money from the government they can get. They Yell...more money for ME! Give Me, Give me, Give me...I will create jobs.

Try to tell that to a child.

Yep, let's play the child card.

You ever hear of the CHIP program, medicaid and charitable contributions to help children.

Let's make it even more simple, if government was so concerned about insurance for children, every child would have been covered a long time ago and I seriously doubt any adult American would have a problem picking up the tab for that.

George W. Bush apparently did.

so did many other politicians because I have yet to see every child covered.

You seem to like reading into things that are not there.

You brought up the children, not me. In response I mentioned CHIPS etc.

My freebie comment is based on the premises that many believe that this is going to cost them a lot less. They view it as an entitlement. It will cost us money and the fact that medicaid, medicare, and social security is headed into trouble makes it hard to believe that this program will be more successful than the ones that are already in trouble.

Now ask yourself why WALMART, one of the richest companies in America, doesn't cover all of its employees? Why should it take an act of Congress to do what is morally correct?

And when Congress does force a company to provide insurance, how does that effect the business?

Quit trying to twist my posts into something I didn't say. It is obvious you want this bill and it is obvious I don't.

We both agree on the need for healthcare reform, we just don't agree on this bill.

S&F. Good catch.

RE:

insurance companies and big pharma

Western "allopathic" medicine evolved symbiotically along with big pharma and big insurance.

Doctors don't even know how to doctor any more - everything they do relies on info from big pharma and the framework created by insurance terms.
