Your mist may have been picked up by the photo sensor in your camera even though you didnt see it.

This has to do with photonic physics of water vapor. You get a reflection that your eye cant see in the moment but the sun reflection or other light source does "see" the light.

Its the source of many mysteries of orbs or misty pictures. You may not see the "reflection" but your camera does and captures it.

Is it paranormal? No, its common light.

Did the fog rise up in the 48 hours before or after the picture was taken.

If your "mist" had more form I would call it paranormal but its formless and could be common or paranormal.

Any odd feelings about that time?
