Dude, use that anger and apply yourself.

If you were in my town I would use you damn it.

Use that anger and begin interviewing for another position.

I know there ain't crap out there. I have been without a position really for over a year. Never been without a position before.

Frelling SUCKS.

Keep up the anger and apply it though. Get yourself a damn BEER if necessary. Give me a U2U if you get too out of control though.

I'm not sure who exactly you are directing this post to, me or the OP, which is endisnighe. I find it funny that you assume that since we're discussing what we feel is an unjust (and frankly, downright draconian) measure in "reforming" American health care, we don't give a damn about any of those other issues. Nothing could be further from the truth, my friend.

And you're right, a healthy population is a productive population. However, this isn't about a healthy population. It's about a controlled population.

I once saved the world from me once. I thought I would have to become a draconian warrior, but PFFFT, I was deflected from my endeavor.

Now, if you want to talk about my OP, the IRS enforcement of an un Constitutional law, hell, I will decide that anything you want to talk about THAT, will be relevant to the discussion.

Otherwise, you are just another distraction.

They could have fooled me today. Sorry man, i feel for you and your situation, but you just have to understand many of us are just seeing a bigger picture here, or maybe just a different philosophy. A lot of us are pretty peeved at the thought of IRS breathing even further down our necks, and feel the stress of that could be further harmful to our overall health then not having Obamacare. I do respect where you are coming from though, with you're health problems as you say, so i'll just leave you maybe to also consider my point of view about it. Which is, i want the govt. off my back and out of my wallet. Period. Let me be, to pursue my happiness as it was intended by our founders, without unjust obstacles. 17,000 new IRS agents, in a time of economic troubles, is to me, an unjust obstacle to my freedoms.

So uh.. what happens when us "Freeloaders" (keep in mind it's over 10% of the entire country these days) can't find a damn job to pay for the damn Health Insurance??? Hmm... guess I'll be seeing you guys in jail soon - that is, of course, if there's any room left IN the jails.... hmm, maybe I should get a job at a Prison - you damn well know THEY'LL be hiring.

I can barely feed and cloth myself. There's millions of people like me who simply cannot afford it. It's sickening that every year I'm working harder for less money. That's why I'm declaring war on the rich. DEATH TO THE RICH!!!

And yet, you can afford both a computer and internet service!

You and your kind are so transparent you could be melted down and made into windows. Shame on you!

By the way, nobody ever worked for a poor person. Death to stupidity!

Thank you for pointing this out to people; I'm tired and not going to go into too much depth on this one but.... did you people ever stop to think what would happen if the drug companies went broke? Forget about freaking General Motors... here's a crazy thought; what would happen if doctors actually CURED people of their various sicknesses? A lot of them wouldn't have a job... I think you get the idea.

I'm a 28 year old college dropout that's forced to live in my parent's basement - I bought the parts and built my computer with a friend 2 years ago when I was employed.... my parents pay for my internet.

Nice try.

They have to increase the irs because with the healthcare bill they will start getting a lot of people who can't pay their income tax. Normally income tax comes out of income, but they are destroying the country so completely that they must have a plan as to what to do with people when they can no longer pay. Im not talking about making payments. I didn't get mine paid off until Jan of this year. But pile the taxes up any more and people won't be able to pay at all. I guess they are ready for that. That is what the fema camps are for. You are no longer useful to the ptb if you can't pay your income/healthcare taxes,so pick up your stone soap and step into the shower. It's no wonder they didn't care what was in the bill, if anybody could have read it. They're not planning to have us around long enough to find out.

So you are sponging off your parents like a leach AND you are a college dropout? I'm not surprised you feel that you are ENTITLED to have me and everyone else pay your way, including your healthcare. If it weren't for your kind this country wouldn't be in the shape it is in today.

Shame on you!

[scratch the first half of my post, misunderstanding]

I mean really. I personally think that people who believe that government intrusion is actually good for us should be examined by a psychiatrist.

That's one of the most ignorant comebacks I've seen in a long time. Maybe you should start with yourself.

I mean really. I personally think that people who believe that government intrusion is actually good for us should be examined by a psychiatrist.

Where exactly did you get the impression that I am for government intrusion? I view this hell-care bill to be nothing less than a declaration of war against the American People and the United States Constitution. And if it is war they want, I say it is war we shall give them. The federal government can go straight to hell!

Edit to add: I see you edited you post. I apologize if my response was to harsh.

Yea I'm "sponging" and "leeching" off my parents because there aren't any jobs here. I'm doing random odd jobs for people whenever I can - in fact, I have the joy of cleaning off cigarette butts, probably tossed on the ground from people such as yourself, from the sidewalk in front of a Lawyer's office tomorrow morning.

I dropped out of college for several reasons, the main one being I was forced to go into college straight out of highschool because I received a few scholarships. However, I had brain cancer when I was 17 years old and was not READY to go to college - thinking that I wouldn't be alive in a few years, I was more focused on enjoying my life and the time I had on this earth, rather than focus my time on listening to some stupid professor tell me what books to read. During college, I also had professors that skipped class more than any of the students - yet we still all got stuck with the bills.... Suprise! Needless to say they DID get fired, but NOT until after a year of screwing over all the students. Please, feel free to tell me what you do with yourself; personally you sound like you're nothing but a fraud, by the way you're doing nothing but talking # on these forums.

Where does all of this anger come from? It's truly scary the vitriol that some people have for the Government. Blind anger.

Give them war, Liquid. Let's see how that works out for ya.

For the rest of us non-extremist, rational thinking people, we'll just keep working to change the broken parts of the system on your behalf, while some go screaming naked on their roof with "Obama's a Communist" signs over their heads.

Your avatar really says it all. Not even a half term in, and you're already willing to hang the President in effigy. Far as I can tell, whether you like him or not, he's already one of the most effective and productive presidents we've had in a while.

- Winning in Iraq.
- Shifting the tides in Afghanistan.
- Passed Recovery Act and slowed recession.
- Saved Wall Street.
- Saved the auto industry.
- Saved the banks.
- Slowed unemployment.
- Just got historic Healthcare reform passed.

All in first 1.5 years. Love em or hate em, that ain't bad

Maaan, you guys are really gonna suffer over the next 2 years. Immigration reform will get done before the end of the year, the jobs market will start improving by August (before the mid-terms), Wall street reform before end of year, Cap and Trade legislation will follow, and boy! If they get peace between Isreal and the Palestinians, Republicans may never take back the While House!

Fortunately, Liguid, the biggest mistake this country ever made left office at the end of 2008.

PALIN IN 2012!!!

Please tell me you are kidding. If you aren't then I need you to explain to me how you interpreted these findings. The War in Afghanistan is one thing you got right. Aside from all that you are completely wrong unless you can prove otherwise.

I am an Organic Chemist and I put myself through college. I didn't expect taxpayers to be robbed of their hard earned paychecks to pay my way through college...nor for my healthcare. I had crappy jobs while in college as well, literally. One summer I worked with a honey dipper...that is the epitome of a crappy job and not something I wish to repeat. Other jobs included sweeping floors, mowing grass, picking up garbage, and so on. I did everything I had to do to fund my education because I knew that education was my key to success. It was tough but at least I have bragging rights that I did it myself. The only help that I had was a $15,000 dollar scholarship (for one semester) awarded to me by the science department via the National Science Foundation because of “outstanding academic achievement” in Chemistry. It was an award that I did not apply for but my name was submitted by my Analytical Chemistry Professor. Hard work and sacrifice pays off in this country, or at least it did. Now we have a quasi socialist government that has persuaded people to be lazy and suck from the hind tit of those who have the audacity to work for the things they want out of life.

Your generation has an overwhelming sense of entitlement. In reality, you deserve nothing that you are not willing to procure for yourself, and I don’t mean through state sectioned theft either!

Have a nice day

Also, profanity is against the T&C her at ATS!
