March 20, 2010 - Three of us were investigating the Burial Hill cemetery in Plymouth, MA. It is one of the oldest cemeteries in America. The pilgrims constructed a fort on top of the hill in the 1620's. We located many gravestones dating back to the 1680's. Some famous individuals were burried here, including John Howland who came to America on the Mayflower.

We took numerous photos of the area during our 3 hour investigation. Due to background noise we did not attempt to capture EVP's. The picture below is of a family plot. While reviewing the images we noticed a possible anomaly. I do not recall seeing anything similar in that area while walking by using my flashlight to illuminate the path (there is a walkway to the left of where the anomaly is). Tomorrow (Sunday) night we are going to attempt to recreate the photo which I will post. We are not comfortable with calling it a true paranormal anomaly yet. We'll see what we can come up with during the recreation.

Looks like it might be a blur or reflection off of the tombstone. I was once on an investigation in a cemetery where it looked like several of the stones had auras but usually its just the flash causing it. When in doubt about a piece of evidence it is best to just toss it out. It can be really frustrating though, there was this one picture I had that I could have sworn showed a lady in a dress sitting on a tombstone but I left the image alone for a while and came back to it the next day and couldn't find the lady anywhere. Point is sometimes the mind really wants to see something that isn't there or wants to believe mundane things are supernatural. When in doubt though, best to throw it out...

I looked at your picture and it's one of two things (purely speculative as I don't know what kind of camera you used for your shot):

1) You are trying to hoax us, and you superimposed a picture of a little girl in a long white Baptismal Dress into your bedroom door, or

2) You have a little girl wearing a Baptismal Dress haunting your residence.

I am hoping that by being on this site you wouldn't try to hoax us, but I need to keep my skepticism to a certain degree unless I was actually there to look around. I hope you understand. If it is indeed a legit pic, you, my friend, have something very interesting.

To the OP: Looks to me like some sort of magnetic anomaly. Did you check that gravestone for EMF? Could be an electricity source from somewhere. If not, good find!

Peace be with you.

I have to agree with you on the hoax issue. It's getting harder and harder to distinguish what is possibly something paranormal, and what is just pure bs. I just don't get it.

You are forgiven my friend....I saw a pic very similar to that earlier this week. No worries...it's always good to keep us believers on our toes.

Although, I was kinda hoping it was real...

Peace be with you.
