Woah, you stated that you spent two whole years researching the subject???? Not even close. You must be a very bad student or you simply eat up the propaganda without looking any deeper.

You stated that the Age of Aquarius starts on Dec 21, 1012. Wrong guess again. That is a number you or someone else simply made up. It is entirely incorrect.

The sun spot cycle varies from 9 to 14 years. Why hasn't the world ended every 9 to 14 years then? Should we begin to count the spots on leopards for more signs?

The Norway spiral was a failed russian rocket. I have personally seen those spiral petroglyphs you mention in several places around the globe and not one of them was associated with disaster. They were associated with the cycle of life in a positive manner, such as spring mating rituals. Many of them are associated with agricultural time schedules such as time to plant and time to harvest, but none of the ones I have seen are associated with time for the world to end.

The Bible has been used to portray the end of the world for ages. There has always been war, and famine, and pestilence. Hurry, run to Jesus before it is too late.

The Hopi natives do not portend the end of the world in 2012, far from it. Perhaps you should spend a little time with the Hopi and end your ignorance of their culture. They are a great people and you could learn much from them.

As I stated earlier, if you have an agenda you can imagine all the signs you wish. it doesn't make them valid however, particularly when so many of the signs people claim are very misinterpreted.

Oh, and the Denver Airport is a very nice place to fly in and out of. I have been there several times. Yes it has some nice murals, but they do not portray the end of the world, and many many people did indeed want the new airport to be built. What major construction project these days does not go over budget??

My favorite is when people claim that on December 21, 2012 we will be passing the galactic center. LOL we are ALWAYS passing the center.

Indonesia does indeed have numerous volcanoes, as much like Hawaii and Iceland, it was born from geological forces that are still active today. Nothing about it spells the end of the world. It spells the creation of the Earth as we know it today.

What do you mean by we are always passing the galactic center? Where is your source for that?

While I agree that humanity is probably getting what it deserves, I do hope you get banned for saying that, or at the very least, that your post is deleted. You do realize you are talking about real people here, right, and not abstract concepts?

Now, that is NOT support for freedom of speech... The poster had every right to say what he/she did, and I did agree- nothing like a disaster to force us to get back to our roots- as long as it's not manmade.

Um... it is THE CENTER. If you are in a circle that is revolving then yes, of course you are constantly revolving around the center. If you are on a merry go round, are you not constantly passing the center at all times????

There is a center to our galaxy, which we revolve around, but just try to find a center to the Universe. Can't be done. Even if you try to backtrack all the parts of space that are moving away from each other, they do not lead you back to a center. Space is not like that. Odd, but true. Read a book. No one has been able to uncover the center of the Universe because due to the very odd physics there simply isn't one.
There is no center to the Universe

Here is a source if you dont want to just take his/her word for it.

en.wikipedia.org...

Astronomers argue that the galactic equator is an entirely arbitrary line, and can never be precisely determined because it is impossible to say exactly where the Milky Way begins or ends. Jenkins claims he drew his conclusions about the location of the galactic equator from observations taken at above 11,000 feet, which is higher than any of the Maya lived.[41] Furthermore, the precessional alignment of the Sun with any single point is not exclusive to a specific year, but takes place over a 36-year period, corresponding to its diameter. Jenkins himself notes that, even given his determined location for the line of the galactic equator, its most precise convergence with the centre of the Sun already occurred in 1998.[51][52]

You obviously haven't grasped what is meant by passing the centre of our particular galaxy. Our solar system orbits the centre of our galaxy. As it does, it goes up and down in a wave fashion. Every 26,000 years, the solar system passes the centre line. Imagine viewing the galaxy on edge with a line drawn across it's centre width. Cosider a catherine wheel firework, as it spins, centrifugal force throws the sparks of across it's horizontal plane. As the solar system orbits the galactic centre in the wave fashion it will pass this horizontal plane on 21/12/12. Just as the catherine wheel throws of energy across this horizontal plane, it has been suggested that the galaxy does likewise. No one knows how this will affect earth. It may not affect it at all. We will see.

You are talking about two different things. The 26,000 year cycle is the cycle of precession which is caused by the wobble of the Earth's axis.

The "vertical" motion of the solar system as it travels around the galaxy is called harmonic oscillation. This cycle occurs about 2.7 times for each obit meaning it has a period of about 80 million years.

While it is very difficult to define the "center" of the galactic plane it is generally agreed that we passed it on our way "upward" about 2 or 3 million years ago. It's going to be a long time until we get back down to it.

I found a site that lists all the volcanoes on alert as of March 21, 2010. Aparently there are 21 volcanoes on alert in Indonesia.

www.intlvrc.org...

Alert Level 1: Volcano is restless; eruption may occur.
Alert Level 2: Volcano is in eruption or eruption may occur at any time.

These are the volcanoes on alert in Indonesia:

Volcano Alert Level

Bagana - Level 2
Batu Tara - Level 2
Batur - Level 1
Dukono - Level 2
Gamalama - Level 1
Ibu - Level 2
Kaba - Level 1
Karangetang - Level 1
Kelut - Level 1
Kerinci - Level 1
Krakatau - Level 1
Lokon Empung - Level 1
Papandayan - Level 1
Rabaul - Level 2
Rinjani - Level 1
Sangeang Api - Level 1
Semeru - Level 2
Slamet - Level 1
Soputan - Level 1
Talang - Level 1
Tengger - Level 1

edit: spelling
edit: No, I don't know why the UPI article says "17 of 18 Indonesian volcanoes..."; there are many more than 18 volcnoes in Indonesia as Phage has pointed out.

Humanity has gone mad. I guess you could argue it has always been mad. Is it our fault though? I don't believe it to be so. I blame the creator of the universe, whoever that may be. It is infuriating to realize that this universe was founded on such a cold train of thought. Our existence is akin to that of the lab rat. Picture god as the scientist, and us as the lab rats. We are mere tools in the hand of the gods. What else could intelligent life be? This universe... Is it an afterlife for the gods and their race? Surely, only a race as insane as us would consider our universe a feasible afterlife. No, we are simply a science experiment (I say simply in terms of concept, not execution). Perhaps, a science experiment to simulate how the gods universe would end. Is this why the world is so messed up? Was there no serious love that went into the creation of the universe? I think so. This universe is almost exclusively a means to satisfy an ego. It 'fits the bill' as a psychotic globalist once coined. Perhaps, multiple egos due to the extremely contrasting nature of the systems of the mind.

I don't know how usual this is, but feels pretty widespread activity there currently
