And what proof is there that the people yelling racial slurs are Tea Party people ? just because they are in the crowd does not make them a Tea Party member , perhaps they are agent provocateurs .

The hypocrites on MSNBC will be sure to hop on the race card bandwagon while forgetting about the fact that there are no blacks whatsoever on the MSNBC lineup.

That is the ONLY network that blatantly supports Obama at every turn....so what does that mean?

They support a black President but don't like working with one?

I saw one video showing Barney Frank entering the building where the slur was supposed to have happened. You see the back of Frank's head and the guy shooting the video was about 3 feet behind him. They are shuffling into the building and it all looks pretty normal, and you see a guy step up to Frank and say something, but the camera did not pickup what was said and so it could not have been said very loud. So, we have Frank's word about the use of the word Fagot. Since the Fanny and Freddy scandal, I would not trust Frank's word on anything. In fact if he said the sky was blue, I'd have to check outside.

This could be why the guy was later released by the Capitol Hill police.

Yep, that's whay I referred to them as hypocrites.

OLBERMANN “Where are the people of color at the tea partes."

Olbermann keeps calling the Tea Party members white racists, but where are the people of color at MSNBC?

“Where are the People of Color”– in MSNBC’s Lineup?

I have listened to the video several times and I might have heard something or another around :18 - :21 Chanting before the kill the bill chant came and drowned it out. Also around :45 to end there might be something else.

However, who can be sure. It was very noisy and not much can be made out except for unified chanting. I am neutral about this. If it happened, it happened. If it didn't, it didn't. It all comes down to how much to you value the congressman's word.

would it surprise any of you if the people were planted there to undermine the movement?

Do you think it's possible that someone who actually is racist or homophobic would shout these obscenities?

Does it always have to be a plant?

Well I for one know that racism is alive and well as is homophobia. It is up to white people and us heteros to wake up and smell the cawfee. The trouble is two fold.

1) We have eschewed violence so any recourse has to be legal

2) Somepeople will then label an entire movement as racist and homophobic. which is a loss for democracy.

I don't understand why it is up to us white people. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are the two that are pushing racism at an unbelievable pace. Not to mention a president who's pastor was an obvious bigot himself.

The racism was directed at black people. I have heard many white people basically stating that racism doesn't exist anymore. At this moment it is an issue for whites to take on board. Me I would have problablycalled the big mouth out and given him a "glasgow kiss" or broken his jaw. I beet his club or his freinds did not censure him at all as that is the norm.

I was at a rugby match in Leeds (England) a few years ago and took my daughter for the first time and someone yell a racist name at one of tghe players. everyone that heard the words turned around and yelled at him. the crowd was 99% white.

I also mentioned something about us heteros.. I don't like discrimination.

Jesse and Al are demagogues and are not of any importance to most black Americans

I get what you are saying now. I still don't know if he was called a racial slur or if this is more "labeling" by the dem's. That aside. You are correct with your assessment of Jesse and Al. Unfortunately most white people I know will immediately point to them as the ultimate racists. It seems that in their quest to get rich they have not pulled the blacks away from the whites, but instead pushed the whites from the blacks. This may fall though on the white people in the MSM that continually post/report their hate filled rhetoric.
On the hetero thing. It is so new that the older generation is going to have to die off before that is accepted unfortunately. The bigotry definitely exists but they are stuck in their ways.

This can put some perspective on everyones mentality I believe. It is just to show how most of us can't stand difference.

Just so you know ... calling people tea baggers is not really any better than the N word.
While this behavior is wrong I can see how people have come to this, polite action doesn't seem to produce any results.
