im just asking for people to fill in the location info on your profile
not an exact address or anything like that but maybe your country or maybe even city name

i think it might help some people to understand were your from
maybe understand why your typing might be a little confusing not your natural language ect
help others understand some of the different slang used
maybe make it a little more personal
help to understand different problems in different parts of the world

i understand wanting to keep privacy and anonymous
but i dont think mentioning the city or at least country is to revealing

While the option is there and it is well understood why some would appreciate its' use however, as it is optional we will never require people to fill in the location field.

no i wasn't asking for it to be mandatory i just wanted to remind some people if they overlooked it

its not that big of a deal just thought sometimes it would be handy to know

You say you would get a better understanding if you knew where someone was located? Well isnt that stereo typing locations? I dont even look at where people are from, it doesnt matter. What matters is what they say IMO. My location is where I am always

nationality is no excuse for ignorance and it is no special pass to enlightenment.

what the natural language you speak is has almost nothing to do with how well you speak, write or read it (some of the most well written posts on ATS are written by people who have english as a 2nd or 3rd language).

if someone says something, you should just take them at that, if they have written something badly, either read it or ignore it. nationality has caused far to many problems in the world without dragging it in here too.

Laugh My ### Off ! Its very busy in the offseason, But I know A guy,
Might be able to get you a cabin, its last occupant Had dinner with a bear
last season, so bring supplies!

P.S I did go into acc settingsand try to add location but it neve showed up. I will try Again Though!
