Mig-31

The MiG-31 is a cool plane.
With the weight, it has an MTOW of 46,000 Kilograms-46 tonne.
I dont see much wrong with it, it is very fast but it might have a problem
if one got bounced from behind if it was going slow.
If you were going to use it as an EW plane where would you put all the electronic gear? There isnt much room in the fuselage and if you put in under wing/fuselage pods they would get very hot.

What kind of gear do you want to carry? Consider cost of integration as well as cost of operation.

The MiG-31 has maintenance and reliability issues. Unless my airforce had a pile low-hour of MiG-31s laying around, I'd consider a different platform.
