15 Year Old Girl Severly Beaten by Boy at Middle School

www.sandiego6.com

Authorities say a 15-year-old girl was savagely beaten by a teenage boy while waiting for her bus outside a Florida middle school.

The Broward Sheriff's Office says the 15-year-old boy who attends a nearby high school came looking for the girl at Deerfield Beach Middle School Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Jachles says the boy punched the girl, knocked her to the ground and then stomped on her repeatedly. A teacher had to pull the boy away from her to stop the beating.

this makes me absolutely sick, i saw this on CNN a little bit ago, and decided to post it, it appears this boy never knew this girl, and they had never met,

a teacher had to pull the boy away from beating her, in my mind it seems the boy was trying to kill her, and he might have succeeded, apart from being an appalling and shocking attack, this was a boy attacking a girl, which in my mind is the most terrible thing possible, i really hope this girl pulls through,
im pulling for an attempted murder charge as well

See, heres my issue.

I work at a school with kids right in that age range. If I were to see something like this, i would tackle to boy, and make sure he didnt get back up.

And then I would get fired, and sued, and probably arrested.

I might get some flak, but I agree 100% with this post. A 15-year-old girl getting beat up by a 15-year-old guy is not breaking news. When I was in school, I wouldn't say it happened all the time, but it wasn't a rare occurrence. So what, if it was a 15-year-old girl beating up a 15-year-old guy, that's suddenly alright? "Good for the girl, she taught the man a thing or two!"

The gender double standard makes me sick. I'm not saying that either is right, but to see a girl getting beat up getting more attention than it deserves and a guy getting beat up getting less attention than it deserves irritates me to no end. It's similar to how there's never a story on ATS when a guy gets raped (and it DOES happen despite the fact you never read about it), but when a girl gets raped, OOOOH, 500 flags and 2000 post thread. Again, that's not to say that it's not important, but when threads like these get more attention than world-changing event threads that affect thousands of people...it makes me question some posters on ATS.

As for the girl who was beat up, I hope she makes a recovery and the boy gets his proper punishment.

No need to report every soft story on crappy CNN daytime news. if you want to talk about beating up 15 year old girls i suggest some fashion of pornographic forum. This should at least be BTS

Wow you seriously consider a girl being beaten up as pornography? As for your "this should be moved to bts".. that is EXACTLY the kind of attitude that allows murderers and rapists to commit crimes in schools without consequence or record. This "kids will be kids" mentality is bs. This is a VERY important issue that needs to be discussed and treated seriously.

Another thread that is above the top of NO secrets

i dont care if you claim its "a sign of the times" or has "social relevance" or whatever. Seems like people will post anything that has to do with an underage girl getting beaten up.

I think the trend of young girls being beaten is very relevant to conspiracy conversations.

Take a look at how often this is happening now.

I find this sentiment disgusting. There are those of us who spend our lives working with at risk youth who find these things VERY important and relevant.

Just because YOU are about points and stars, does not mean all posters are.

yeah, but its an issue that has been around way longer then anyone on ATS. just because we the few are given the opportunity to read it doesnt make it all right with the universe. There are social workers who actively work against these kinds of situations EXACTLY BECAUSE THEY ARE TYPICAL. Nobody said its not a problem, but a discourse surrounding a random young girl getting beaten up on a conspiracy website is seriously misplaced.

i agree, but there is no effort by the OP to put this into that context. Mabey if he got a whole bunch of story, or a record of these types or stories over time, we might be abel to find a pattern of coverage and determine a conspiracy either in human behavior or simply in coverage on these kinds of things.

....if you want to delude yourself into thinking this post will somehow spread awareness your sadly mistaken. I never said it was unimportant, but it certainly isnt breaking and is barely news. And conspiracy? dont make me laugh.

This is no conspiracy or breaking news. It is a well documented, discussed, and known phenomenon around the world. Girls get beat up by boys, and vice versa. Woo freekin hoo, posting on the board wont make it go away.

There is one problem with y our statement: IT DID SPREAD AWARENESS. I hadnt heard about this incident. I am very interested in it.

Barely news? What then do you consider newsworthy?

Its not a matter of making it go away. If you think that everything on these boards is about making things go away, you must be one very frustrated person. Has talking about government corruption made it go away? Has speaking of the spread of tyranny made it stop?

This is about discussion, not talking things to solution.

There are always news stories being posted that are not conspiracy related.. if anyone has a problem with this they should take it up with admin or leave. There is also an angle that could be considered conspiracy related. I believe some schools actively foster bullying enviroments.. I now that teachers sometimes encourage it.. especially when kids are different/independent from the herd.

Another example of "child" violence was a girl getting stabbed to death at school. What usually happens? Kids get a slap on the wrist and everyone carries on about how their lives shouldn't be ruined by one mistake and they get community service or therapy.

This is what you get when you take away the parents' rights to discipline their children.

In my day, this crap didn't happen, because you knew your mom and/or dad would take a belt to your arse for this kind of act...

Nowadays, kids pick up a phone, dial a number, and have a state agency breathe down their back for years over one call, and case workers who never even had children, telling them what to do.

That's why I never plan to have kids myself. I've seen it too much with good parents.

This whole "touchy-feely" love-fest way of raising kids is bs, and leads to only one of two outcomes...1) people afraid of their own shadow, or 2) thugs who know you can't do anything to them...

I'm not saying to always resort to it, heck, I only got a beating a few times, and I'm smart enough to look back and see that I deserved it when I got it. Mostly, I was just grounded...but if you take away that ultimate level of punishment, AND combine it with consequences for the parent, it's like giving kids carte blanche to do what they feel....when they aren't mature enough to analyze all of the consequences...that's the parent's JOB....

Excellent point.
I, too, do not plan on reproducing any time soon.
All too often I hear children screaming to get their way, because they are blatantly spoiled to death and all because of bad parenting and lack of discipline. Bad parenting caused by "civil rights" or "fair punishment".

Bullcrap! These kids coming up now would cry FOUL if they lived in my shoes.
I can guarantee that the way I was raised ultimately effects my judgement.
Sometimes, I hate the way children are treated these days. Almost TOO good.

This was me after a fit---->
