A sign of the times, where jobs are deparately needed but one of, if not the most, precious historical sites to the US is at stake. What do we do, as
society?
Do you really want to full blown casino/gambling/crowds/problems/crimes/ etc near such a site? Not me, but I live in the region and go there
frequently-I like the way it is mentality, if you will. But, I know people who need jobs in that area.
What do you think? Anyone else out there in an area where similar things area occurring? I would like to see a law enacted that would prohibit such
developement with a certain radius. Am I being a jerk/uncaring for being this way?
I know for anyone not familar with the area and/or Gettysburg history if maybe an easy answer but..... it just seems wrong. Anyone want to convince
me I'm wrong?
I would appreciate some feedback from our great minds at ATS. Thank you.
PS, i will be taking the wife and kids down there in a few weeks. I let you know if I see any ghost.....
