Now this is more like it!

The Dems true colors are showing and they aren't red, white and blue. Jeffrey T. Kuhner spells it out for all to read.

Good information on why to impeach the president and his band of thugs. I know you haven't been around to long but people tend to get hostile with these threads of impeach Obama and start to bring up bush again.

The title is a little harsh should be more like reasons to impeach Obama and gang

"It would open Mr. Obama, as well as key congressional leaders such as Mrs. Pelosi, to impeachment. The Slaughter Solution would replace the rule of law with arbitrary one-party rule. It violates the entire basis of our constitutional government - meeting the threshold of "high crimes and misdemeanors." If it's enacted, Republicans should campaign for the November elections not only on repealing Obamacare, but on removing Mr. Obama and his gang of leftist thugs from office. "

Even if it did open them up to impeachment, no way in hell will it ever be done. No way will the first black (well half anyway) president be removed. If you think this country is divided now, imagine all of the people who voted for him simply because he's black, being told he's being kicked out of office. You think the LA riots were bad, it would be horrible. Not to mention them passing this is a godsend to the republicans for November. The one thing I really have a problem with as well from the Democratic voters is......if your man didn't have enough intestinal fortitude to vote against it and let it pass anyway...as a way of garnering votes (Look, I didn't vote for this thing), does he/she reall deserve to be in office. It's tandemount to Obama voting present as a Senator, I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Mr. Obama is imposing a leftist revolution. Since coming to office, he has behaved without any constitutional restraints. The power of the federal government has exploded. He has de facto nationalized key sectors of American life - the big banks, financial institutions, the automakers, large tracts of energy-rich land from Montana to New Mexico. His cap-and-trade proposal, along with a newly empowered Environmental Protection Agency, seeks to impose massive new taxes and regulations upon industry. It is a form of green socialism: Much of the economy would fall under a command-and-control bureaucratic corporatist state. Mr. Obama even wants the government to take over student loans.

This, sums it up. However, I don't think it is so much leftist as it is socialist/communist.

Socialist/Communist makes no sense. Communism is more towards anarchy than socialism in a sense. As for impeaching Obama, i say don't bother with all that hassle. If Americans truly are fed up with Washington they will vote for neither party in the next election.

The Slaughter Solution is a poisoned chalice. By drinking from it, the Democrats would not only commit political suicide. They would guarantee that any bill signed by Mr. Obama is illegitimate, illegal and blatantly unconstitutional. It would be worse than a strategic blunder; it would be a crime - a moral crime against the American people and a direct abrogation of the Constitution and our very democracy.

The only thing they are doing is setting this up for failure.

I am starting to believe that Obama's heart really is not in health care reform but, because he's said too many times that he WOULD make it happen, he doesn't care if it stands the legal review just so long as he can say that he made it happen.

Pelosi is the one that will resign after this thing is over and all the lawsuits are successful against the government. But it won't hurt her too much, I'm sure she's comfortable with the millions she's made while in Congress.

Impeach the President? Definitely.
Fire everyone on Capitol Hill? Most Definitely!
Will the American People give up their lives/jobs/TV to march? Nope.

Go ask anyone (like I did) to stand up and fight for what they're taking away.
You get laughed at and treated like a crazy person.

Americans need to get off their collective butts and put the remote down.
We all know that will never happen.

Once you realize that people just want to be left alone to whatever miserable lives they have with their sports and entertainment and flashy cars, drugs and houses, you realize how lazy people really are.

But, I thank God everyday that there is a rising number of people waking up.

ATS requires us to use the same title as in the article so he is doing it right.

Sure you ask people to give up their jobs to march and you will be laughed at.

Why?

Because for those of us who have a family and do not come from money, we need our jobs. Without them we don't eat.

The only ones who causually asks someone to give up their job is someone who doesn't worry about money and we all know who doesn't worry about money.

Those who have it.

Since you don't care about money, give me all of yours, because I sure as hell care about it. When you transfer it all into my account then I will leave my job and march along side of you.

So you are suggesting that Obama should be impeached based off of the action of the members of the House of Representatives???

Could you explain to me how that makes sense? Does Obama have any constitutional authority to step into the House and intervene in this process?

So exactly how are you going to justify impeachment charges against someone who hasn't done anything wrong...but the members of his party in a different branch of government did???

Do you honestly think this makes sense?

Besides that...the article is full of mis-information.

It is legal and constitutional...it has been used many times in the past. It combines two steps into one...instead of passing the bill and then amendments...it deems the bill passed with the amendments that they outline in the rule. If the reconciliation bill does not contain the amendments in the rule...then it is not deemed passed. And if it is...THEN it would be unconstitutional. They are still approving the bill...this is just rhetoric and propaganda. It's not a "blind vote"...votes will be recorded and everyone will see how they voted on the rule...which means they voted for the bill.

By signing this bill into law he will become a party to the process it took to become law. Not only that but he will be approving the process with his signature. You know this...

Ya I was just saying about the title if it's the rules it's the rules but it will bring alot of negative into the thread. I support tosses all of them out. It's time to make a stand most don't do it because what can 1 person do when you need millions behind you to toss them out.

Yeah, you all have fun with that.
And while you are trying to impeach the president, the rest of us in reality will continue to try and work with what we have.
