Dennis, Obama, satire, and confusion?

A personal translation from my mind to yours. Here is what I think happened. I happened to think that Kucinich wouldn't just flip with the nation watching btw.

The two stepped on Air Force One and sat down. The plane then took off and here is what happened.

Obama: How are you Dennis?

Dennis: Good and You?

Obama: Fixin to be alot better. :::Snicker:::

Silence

Obama: Let me explain something, I need this bill to pass and you are gonna help me.

Dennis: Well there seem to be some major flaws in it Mr. President.

Obama: Don't let that worry you. You see when we step off this plane there is gonna be some guy that is aiming to kill you. I will call him from this plane and tell him whether or not to. Now you have two choices, support this bill or some sniper is gonna kill you and the state run media will report it as a lone gunman and was afraid that you were going to vote for the bill.

Dennis: You can't do this, it is absurd.

Obama: Yes we can.

Dennis: Who is we?

Obama: Uh no one don't worry about that.

Dennis: "Thoughts flooding his mind"

Obama: Well I gotta give this guy a good heads up so make it quick Denny how's it
gonna be?

Dennis: The people won't stand for this, they will figure you out if I quickly say something before you kill me.

Obama: Oh this guy is good, you won't make it out of your seat.

Dennis: Sigh, ok I will flip for my life, screw the American people, I need me.

Obama: Makes call and hangs up, Glad you came around Denny. Change is what this country needs right now.

Dennis: Aren't the people gonna care? I mean it is obvious you bribed me or something, before I got on the plane I was against it.

Obama: A few reruns of Friends will make everyone forget it and the only ones that will resist that will be happy or angry to know that Tron is getting remade.

Dennis: Well a Tron Remake is too hard to not have on your mind I guess.

Obama: You see we have it figured out.

Dennis' face stays blank until after he returns home. Can't seem to put on a happy face when exiting the plane.

This is my translation anyways. Just thought I would let you know. Just remember our transparent president wasn't rolling the cameras on the plane so no one really knows what happened. Hopefully you enjoyed it and any movie offers that come my way I will make sure to let you guys know lol.

It more than likely went like this.

Kucinich: Sorry O, I cannot agree to this bill, it is a takeover of the health care bill but we need a complete takeover with a public option.

O: C'mon baby, do you actually think this is the final bill? You know all we have to do is get our foot in the door?

Kucinich: Oh, I never thought you were that devious.

O: Well I did get my stripes in the Chicago sector of politics. Just think of it this way, LIE LIE LIE.

Kucinich: Well, I guess that works. I am just feeling that is too devious and that I may lose my soul if I sign onto this bill.

O: There is a way that MAYBE you can walk away with your soul on this, now, if I threaten your life would that help.

ENTER VENTIAN scenario.

Kucinich a representative in the House. Has been a staunch NO vote for the health care bill as written. He had numerous problems with the current bill. One major one being the forced purchase of insurance to current providers. He wanted a public option.

Now Kucinich was given a ride on Air Force One with Obama. After getting off he called a press conference and has stated he will now vote YES on the bill.

Many people are saying this bill is just a stepping stone to a much larger takeover down the road.

I see that Obama has mentioned in the past that all they have to do is get their foot in the door. I imagine that is what he told Kucinich. We just have to get our foot in the door baby. We can pass a public option rider later, is my interpretation of how the conversation went.

In the world of Chicago politics I can see this life threatening kind of scenario actually taking place. While threatening someone with death is a good ploy, I on the other hand think it went more something like this:

Air Force One gets loaded up, doors shut and Dennis is told Obama will see you now. Dennis walks to the back to where the Obama is located and when he enters the room he sees another Dennis Kucinich sitting and talking to Obama. They are having a bang up conversation and Obama is heard saying, "I am so glad I took the advice of the CIA and used a clone to help me out with my health care dilemma.

Obama turns his head and grins at the real Dennis Kucinch and states, you are my good news Dennis. The good news is my problem is solved and you will never be a problem to anyone ever again. The bad news is you will never get off this flight alive and well that's the cost of doing business and in that regard, no hard feelings Dennis, it's just politics. It's not personal.

The real Dennis Kucinch while standing there in shock is immediately injected from behind with a substance that renders him unconscious and the new clone of Dennis Kucinich now assumes the role and life of the old and troublesome Dennis Kucinich.

Air Force One lands and when everyone gets off it can be seen that Obama is now a happy camper and that the new clone of Dennis Kucinich is now the obedient Democrat that Obama wanted all along.

The media interviews Dennis and Obama and of course Dennis now supports whatever Obama wants. This to me proves that the real Dennis Kucinich is now a clone doing the bidding of his controller, Obama. This is my view of what explains the truth of the recent reversal in positions being seen in Dennis and his new found support for the Obama.

It is far fetched theory, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has suspected that they swapped Dennis out during the flight with a fresh CIA programmed clone of Dennis kucinich.

Anyway, thanks for the posting. I really made my day.

I sure hope you are right, for once! Let's cross our fingers that this bill will begin the inertia towards what Dennis will continue to fight. The ends justify the means in your scenario.

Just to clarify, Kucinich is a staunch advocate of a single-payer system (above and beyond the 'public option'), as he feels it is advantageous for the maximum percentage of our health-care expenditures to go towards the actual provision of actual health care, as opposed to letting so called health insurance companies skim badly needed dollars towards their bottom line. It is a fact that the purpose of a for-profit health insurance company is to make as big a profit as it can, no?

Just look at the diminishing percentage of money the for-profits have put towards actual health-care after the republicans were able to kill the bill back in the good old Clinton days:

Sorry to tell you this nuts, places are going to start turning away Medicare if this does not go through because they are losing money.

Now, tell me the end game on a government takeover.

You got it, the companies cannot sustain, so the end result is that everything will lose money.

So how to compensate, well everyone begins to get less care, everyone's prices will sky rocket.

If you cannot get info out of someone like Beck, you are the loser in the end result. I even get info out of people like Maddow.

I find schizoid personality disorder interesting as a professional, yet especially grating in TV news analysts. As is typical, the analysand projects (broadcasts) his reality onto others. Ah yes, satire, that's always the free-pass for obnoxiousness allocated for master comedian Limbaugh. Surely the OP was actually intending to show how utterly ridiculous his scenario was. I can't wait to see how Limbaugh mocks the 11 year-old who lost his mother today. Of course, I must remind himself that he is actually satirizing those that would actually mock an 11 year-old to a national audience of millions.

Well since my theory/satire is way too far fetched for a civilized site like ats, perhaps you can tell me what happened. All I know is Obama and Kucinich got on that plane together and Kucinich WAS against the bill. We literally just watched an infamous back room deal that the Holy One was campaigning against back in 08. When Dennis stepped off he was now in support of that bill. I have no doubt that most of these politicians will kill to save themselves and Obama has said that his presidency depends on this bill. So if you don't mind please enlighten me. How did Obama convince Dennis short of a threat of some sort that he should vote for this bill, all the while saying it doesn't matter that everyone watching knows that before he stepped on he was against it. I am more able to believe that theory on the clone (star for who posted it btw) than Kucinich selling out his beliefs and his country for any possible position in the Cabinet after he gets booted out this next election cycle. I will be patiently waiting. Thanks to all that have replied.
