US Department of Justice Asked to Regulate AIPAC as a Foreign Agent of the Israeli Government

The US Department of Justice has been formally asked to begin regulating the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) as the foreign agent of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A 392 page legal filing presented by a four person IRmep delegation in a two hour meeting with top officials of the Internal Security Section substantiated the following case for AIPAC's immediate registration:

That would be neat. AIPAC IS working for the Israeli government. That's just a fact and it should be exposed as such.

I'm tired of Israelis spying on the US and infiltrating the government so the US does their bidding.

Enough is enough. We can help countries we like, but forcing a country to do your bidding by infiltrating it is treason.

People should know who they are dealing with.

When 2/3 of congress go to AIPAC meetings, it means they go to AN ISRAELI GOVERNMENT MEETING.

AIPAC is a spinoff of an organization already ordered by the DOJ to register as an Israeli foreign agent. In November of 1962 the American Zionist Council was ordered by the Attorney General to begin filing disclosures as an Israeli foreign agent under the 1938 Foreign Agents Registration Act. www.IRmep.org... Not too long ago I read another lay-out of the case with extensive quotes from the 1938 Foreign Agents Registration Act. To any rational mind familiar with the law it would be open and shut. AIPAC is a foreign agent. Building, personnel, computers all shared with the registered agency.

The question is: Does rational legal reasoning prevail in the US or does political financial and PR clout?

Funny, most of the American donations from Christian groups in support of Zionism goes right through AIPAC for illegal settlement construction. Official US policy against illegal construction VS unofficial shadow controllers of US politicians, who will prevail? Bets any one?

So they run the world of airport security in over a 150 countries including the US.

I'm so uneducated when it comes to Israel and US relations.
First; I thought it was Britain that helped the Israelis form a government in the holy land back after WW11.

Until then I'd never heard of Theodor Herzl, First Zionist Congress, Der Judenstaat, The Balfour Declaration, the 1922 British Mandate, The November 1947 U.N. proposed partitioning. It's a bit informative to read the actual documents, available here: avalon.law.yale.edu...
The 1922 British Mandate provided "in favor of the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, it being clearly understood that nothing should be done which might prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine". In other words, 'the indigenous' 92% just live in British controlled Territory while the British Crown helps establish a semiautonomous 'nation' for Jews to immigrate into from all over the world.

No established borders. In essence an apartheid state. Citizenship for Jews, paternalistic 'protection' of the 'natives' fairly standard British Empire type colonialism. After 1948, US took it over. Not exactly. Independent "Jewish state" controls everything including paternalism toward non-Jews, US backs it financially, and protects it from international criticism for what seems to some as crimes against humanity.

Why is the US playing as the appeasers to the Israelis, why don't the US put it's foot down when Israel misbehaves? Or better, why is the US and Israel so "tight?" I don't get it. Why does Israel get so much help from the US? And, why doesn't Israel even get a slap on the hand when it has been caught with it's hand in the cookie jar? Such as not obeying regulations as put forth in the OP's thread? Or better, having obtained WMDs without signing the NNP Treaty?

The basic answer of why is Religion especially American Dispensationalism, steadily increasing in US political power since 1930s. 'help Israel=god's blessing, oppose Israeli =god's curse.' Simple as that. Fear of a god of questionable moral standards. Seems a bit UnAmerican to me.

Why even call AIPAC, AIPAC. I know many jewish folks and they are usually bluntly straight forward.

I motion to simply call AIPAC a division of Mossad. Which is bluntly straight forward.
