UFO based terrorism. I guess that might actually do it.

And then what happens when it gets so successful some nutty radical extremist group comes along and asks the cartel to get a "special package" across no questions asked?
Ahmadinejad will really love that.

Good job people. Keepin America safe, one radical post at time.....

So you blame UFO/ET conspiracy theorists for real or perceived problems? I've got to say, that's a fairly stupid train of thought. I also need to inform you that since you're posting here you're one yourself. Otherwise you would be posting your silliness to some more mainstream crank site like redstate or world net daily.

You're actually worried about Iran and its leaders? I'm sorry to tell you buddy, the War on Terror is a joke. A deadly one, but a joke. I suppose the fact that the USA's "pre-emptive" invasion and takeover of Iraq over WMDs that didn't exist meant nothing to you. Keep ignoring stuff like that and the USA will find itself in another war in the Middle East over another non-existant threat, because you buy them hook, line, and sinker.

And what exactly is so "radical" over speculation on extraterrestrials? Where are the calls to violence in them? Your post sounds to me like you've been listening a bit too much to Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Michael Savage.

A couple of things.
The drug cartels have a transportation budget that dwarfs Walmart. They have engineered their own submarines already. A low tech stealth ship isn't out of the question.

My assertion is that the "ufo mania" equates to a genuine security threat.
DARPA is concerned about this as well.
networkchallenge.darpa.mil...
The flaw is that they used red balloons for their test. Had they used a real world scenario with stealth craft, the "nutters" would have destroyed the signal to noise ratio with erroneous UFO reports.

Originally posted by alexander_delta Lets suppose someone does actually see it. You know what they will do, they'll report it as a UFO. That guarantee's that nothing will be done about it. The police wont care, neither will the FAA, nor the border patrol.

Good theory but I take the opposite view.

Just because the government seems to ridicule UFO reports and seem to take little notice of such events in the mainstream does not mean that they are not actually evaluating such reports with very serious intent indeed.

It might seem that TPTB will brush off these reports because that would be just what they would like you to think as they would want you and I to think the whole thing was a complete none event. However behind the scenes they would probably be conducting their investigations under an umbrella of utmost secrecy as this allows for plausible deniability, options for cover stories if the cat leaps out of the bag or in other words much room for manoeuvre.

Certain factions at the top probably have specialist highly compartmentalised teams operating under highly classified military mandate that answer only to the most shadowy and secretive in government so the special agents, police, security personal are just there to make up the numbers, fill in the gaps – I would lay money on it.

Therefore I would go so far as to hypothesise that UFO reports are probably taken much more seriously with more manpower and infrastructure invested into such reports than might even be invested in reports of a possible flying drug mule in the area.

Just a suspicion I have, I cannot prove it!
