Im watching CNN as we speak and (R) Rep. John Boehner was on there saying a bunch of crap about the health care reform and how the american people this and american people that and that it will NEVER pass on his watch and all this holier than thou horse puckey... STFU Dont you just love how the republicans are now the "good guys"? They seem to have totally forgotten the previous 8 years when they held power and they drove this country into 2 wars, first stimulus bill and it was under their watch when the first crash came thru... I think its quite OBVIOUS that neither the Republican Party or the Democratic party are fit to run this country anymore... NEITHER party is for the american people. They have BOTH been co-opted by special interests led of course by the big banks... lets not do anything thats good for the country (like ending the wars and saving trillions) lets instead force the states to layoff thousands of teachers and school faculty... Lets not END the FED, lets give them MORE power... the Supreme Court is not even for americans anymore... (corporate money elections unlimited) all 3 branchs of Government are CORRUPT BEYOND repair. they are all the same gang up there on capitol hill. Banker/Big Business Mafia..

now its Your turn, Tell me and everyone on ATS what you think of the 2 headed dragon on capitol hill....

Sooo now tell us how you really feel -

Seriously, as long as we all continue to be a part of that entire Dem/Repub thing, the more of the problem we continue to be.

It shouldn't be about 'them' and 'us' but rather what is constitutionally right for their employers, the American people.

With the exception of social issues, there's little practical difference between the two parties. They both seem to believe in a big government 'nanny state' and both believe in interventionist foreign policy. Both work only for their own particular special interest groups at the expense of the majority of us.

That said, the parties aren't the problem so much as the people being elected. There are still a few good people in both parties. Unfortunately, the American people have a bad habit of electing based upon superficial reasons rather than qualifications, and that tendency leads to incompetence.

You can start all of the additional parties you want, but until the American people change their voting habits and start electing good representatives who understand the Constitution, respect it, follow it, and believe that the government works for the people, not the other way around, even those new parties will fall victim to the same problems as the Dems and GOP.

Yes, I hear you loud and clear, I too watch CNN, MSNBC, and Fox. I like politics, but hate how the current ones practice it. It is a lot like Professional Wrestling, where the bad guys/good guys trade back and forth all the time. Folks the only good guys here are men like Ron Paul, and Dennis Kucinich, and Jessie Ventura. The rest are all shills, and yes men.

Oh Coffinman, two wars wasn't enough, we were trying to fight Al Qaeda and we have sorry #s like you on their side. You must be a Democrat. Piss ants like you were all about helping the Soviet Union win the Cold War.

With any luck, the passing of this healthcare bill will be the straw that breaks the camel's back and gets an armed violent revolution going on here in the US. We need something to get the Tea Partyers off of the pissing and moaning asses and get thim to pick up their guns and do the right thing, that being; kill Democrats, socialists, communists and other such scum.

We need new civil war to see if this country will continue on under the Marxist philosophy of the Democrats or the Liberal philosophy of us Republicans. I'm hoping for a dirty and mean Balkan affair where we just genocide you Democrat scumbags. Your DNA has no place on earth anymore. We've had enough of you thieves and parasites.

This isnt real Healthcare reform. The Democrats held a filibuster majority for the last year, they held majority since 2006 and yet they proved they could not bring true reform to the table. As for Republicans, I think you stated it rather clearly. I will not mark every single Republican and Democratic representitive as being in cooperation but there is a sizable group among both parties working hand in hand against what the people of this nation want. I sometimes wonder what many of these Democrats and Republicans say to eachother once the door closes to the public.

It is sad...
I mean I would hope to bring in third party... but even that, with politics as it is, there will be some cooperation in corruption, in ignoring the people. I dont know anymore.

Maybe this reform will do some good but the Democrats have proven to me as a party they they are little to no better than the Republicans.

I noticed you mentioned Dennis Kucinich with Ron Paul. I like him to but I dont understand why anybody who supports Ron Paul would like him as well. This man didnt want to vote for Healthcare reform in the first place because it didnt have a public option or a single payer system, something Paulers and conservatives are steadfast against. Can you explain to me what the exception this time around?

wow, i know your a troll but damn, i gots to reply to your rant. maybe you didnt read the whole thing but the OP states clearly that i HATE BOTH parties. republicans dug the hole, democrats have dug it much deeper... there is only one voice in D.C. - the Corporate Voice. the big business interests who put thier money where their mouth is. as for your balkanization rant, if that were to happen in america then there would be two dominant powers left... China and Russia... who do you think would influence your state more? cause there would be no doubt they would have influence somwheres...
