Seriously...I'm just sick of it. I'm sick of all the misdirection, the lies, and the all out blatant BS coming out of both sides.

They (conservatives, Hannity, Beck) scream it's Socialism...yet it's a major buy in for health insurance companies...which oddly enough...Obama is being critical of insurance companies while pushing this bill!!!!!

NONE OF IT MAKES SENSE....90 percent of the arguments don't make sense.

I'm just tired of it. For such a subject that is so important to all of us as it affects all of us...I've just lost the will to care.

For one, Republicans can strike this down and return all the tax money that will be accrued if they win back seats in the house/senate...and they can do it the same way health care is being passed as the health reform doesn't actually go into effect for a few years...except for the taxes.

If this bill passes....THE SUN WILL STILL RISE THE NEXT DAY.

The backroom deals, the payoffs, ALL OF IT HAS BEEN DONE THOUSANDS OF TIMES....they just didn't have fancy names such as...

The Cornhusker Kickback.
The Louisiana Purchase.
The Slaughter Solution.
The Nuclear Option.

I heard Sean Hannity repeat ALL of those terms 3 times within 10 minutes today. It's constantly repeated. They want it to stick.

Anyway...go ahead and vote Republican if this passes. They won't overturn JACK and YOU ALL KNOW IT.

Why? BECAUSE THEN THEY WILL BE HURTING THE INSURANCE COMPANIES. I don't see them going after Prescription drugs...DO YOU???

I can't WAIT till Fri/Sat when this goes to vote.

I'm sick of the people that actually believe that the "system" works, might work, could work, did work....

The "system" was designed to be broken, designed to rip you off, and designed to keep you fearful.

The healthcare debacle as people call it, is nothing more than another manufactured sensation. Just like the football star that slept with his team-mates wife, or the politician that just had sex with his male secretary, etc.

What we need to do is wake up, realise we have been kept in a box for too long, and get out of the box.

We don't really need anything but ourselves, and the community.

The communities of 500 or a 1000 years ago were self sufficient, for the most part, and didn't require hugely expensive governments to tell them what to do, ro what to think, or what to buy, or who to talk to, and so on.

When are we going to really wake up?

The problem with most of us, is that we still subscribe to this idea that "government" is good for us, and that men and women in suits can tell us what to do. Get real, grow a spine (or brass balls), and take charge of your own future. Don't let some scumbag in government tell you what to do.

If you want a hospital that works, get into the community around you, and make it happen. It isn't rocket science!!!

Stop complaining, and start doing. Simple.

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter is the first state chief executive to sign a measure requiring his attorney general to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform.

Legal experts say the measure, signed Wednesday, will likely be struck down. But Idaho's new law reflects growing frustration with President Barack Obama's health-care proposal.

Legislation similar to Idaho's is pending in as many as 37 other states nationwide.

Democrats in the nation's capital are hoping to pass health care reform by this weekend.

The American Legislative Exchange Council created the model legislation for Idaho and other states. The Washington, D.C.-based, nonprofit says Idaho is the first to sign a version into law.

Ah, this whole health care thang is just another manipulation. Just like how they create terrorists to get us all feeling threatened and willing to give up our freedom for our own protection, now they are threatening your health. "If we don't fix this, you will all die!" .. .. "Oh, I am so scared. Again. Protect us, Uncle Shammy, protect us, do what you think is best for us."

It won't be long now and Uncle Sham will have to take over all aspects of our lives. Education/indoctrination, security, health care .. food care, housing care, your money care, your kids care .. the yet to be born that will have to pay for all of this care ... .. Oh yeah, they care .. ha, can't you tell?

Yes, I can see a reset party happening sometime in the not to distant future. You know, one way to encourage the young to get involved is to remind them what the national debt level is .. every day .. and to remind them that it is they that will have to pay for all this. And then tease them about it.

In the words of Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park, "Boy, do I hate being right all the time"! Back when the Democraps started their primaries for their presidential candidate they all started talking up this "Health Care Reform" thing, especially Hillary, go figure. I thought to myself back then that this will inevitably turn into just another vacuum hose for a major industry inserted directly into my wallet. And now, years later, guess what's happening?! We will all be made unwilling slaves to the health insurance industry, who will be completely free to dictate how much care, if any, you receive and how much you must pay for it. There will be legal challenges to this totally f**ked bill, but if this flies, like I think that it will, (afterall the Supreme Court thinks that corporations are people) then we will undoubtedly see other industries lining up to get your purchasing of their product mandated by law as well. This is just the beginning. There will be more to come.

The problem with health care is everyones expectations. Everyone thinks that because we can, we should keep everyone alive for as long as the medical establishment can. Ya got 80 year vegged out geriatrics being kept alive in hospital beds costing someone a huge bill every year. You got old retired people going in for heart and other part replacements costing hundreds of thousands of dollars each visit, all in some desperate attempt to keep themselves alive another 10 years or so .. and at whose expense? Hum? The problem with health care is that nobody wants to draw that NECESSARY line where its just too expensive (and/or unprofitable) to keep someone alive any more. I mean really, do we want to go bankrupt trying to keep great great great great grandma alive another year? I say lets get back to natures intent. If you plug up your pipes with pig fat, you die. Or, if you toast your lungs smoking, you die. You die if you can't pay for your choices in life. We shouldn't jack our descendants and the unborn with OUR entitlement expenses! That's just immoral and wrong in so many ways. The real health care solution: You die when it's your time! Don't jack your neighbors to pay for your new blood pump or whatever!

Infact I would love it, if anybody could break down whats going on and what is hidden inside the bill for me.

My dad is a republican redneck fox news believing man- who constantly says how terrible the bill will be. And while I dont believe that the government should have say over any medical care, I have a serious illness and currently am without health insurance due to prexisting conditions, so I am for healthcare.

Anyone care to help me see behind all the curtains????

What I'm sick of is people actually believing that this is what we need. Didn't Reagan say the scariest thing is someone coming to your door and saying, "I'm from the government and here to help"?

The government screws up everything it touches. They screwed up medicare; do you honestly think this will be any better?

I'm tired of trying to correct mis-information every single day.

I wish they would just pass it already so we can move on to actually seeing that it isn't as evil as Fox News is telling everyone it is.

My father worked for the government and I grew up in Washington. I'm familiar with the ins and outs of passing legislation, the bartering and compromises, the dirty tricks and shenanigans, the cheer leading and the fear mongering, in short the total warfare which is politics in that city.

The problem is the media is reporting every little wrinkle of this legislation. For the American people it's like watching sausage being made; if we know exactly how it's done we will feel too sick to eat it.

The fact is once health care is passed or not passed we will not remember the ugly process for very long. Then our attention will be on how it's working for us.

I would like to see some reform, meagre as it will be, rather than none. But that's my take on it.

I don't get it, I don't have good knowledge on internal American issues so can someone explain where it all went wrong? Obama wants to do it his way the last time I heard.

I don't understand how the richest country in the world can not sort out its health issues, I think the UK has a good system along with European countries compared to others out there. But if stubborness be it individual inspiration causes its downfall then they have only to blame.

Are there any conspiracy based angles on this?
