Elephants through Washington: A bad politcal Pun?

Just wondering if any of you think that the Elephants marching through Washington for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus parade, resembles a bad political pun? Like a bizarre message from the republicans lol.

A parade of elephants brought some circus excitement to the heart of Washington DC on Tuesday.
The animals walked in a long line to the US Capitol Building, past crowds of onlookers taking photographs.
They are in town for five weeks as part of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.
