i have heard of this experiment! i'm glad it was posted. in the version i read, everything happened as you described it, but during the last seance a guest said something like, "you don't even exist." and he never appeared again. i could be mixing up stories; either way, good post.

This is an amazing thread. Haven't had a chance to finish reading it, or develope a response, but I wanted to get it into my list so I can get back to later.

This experiment opens up so many possibilities, it so phenomenal, just as a concept.

The Philip Aylesford Experiment could very well be an example of the power of tulpa (thought form).

And this so called ghost could be A Nirmita,

Then again the Philip Alyesford experiment could very well be another hoax since no physical evidence, recordings, photographs, etc was every made of the sessions.

or my last theory is that philip aylesford was a demon/another spirit and it was just messing with these "researchers".
