Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Tuesday that Israel must prove it is committed to the Mideast peace process with actions, brushed aside suggestions U.S.-Israeli relations are in crisis and reaffirmed America's steadfast commitment to its security.

"It's been a very important effort on their part as well as ours," Clinton said. "We know how hard this is, this is a very difficult, complex matter. But the Obama administration is committed to a two-state solution, we are committed to a resumption of the negotiations between the parties."

This is really making the rounds in the news

abcnews.go.com...

However... make no mistake
I think... it's the media highlighting the article headline more than Clinton herself.

So props to the Media on this!

The world needs to see these headlines for an entire decade!!

Sec. Clinton is right, there must be some demonstrable commitment to the peace process on the part of the Israelis.

I, personally, would like to see the Jews rebuild the Temple. Archaeological excavations show that much of Jewish civilization predated that of the Arabs, who were for most of their history nomadic. I'm tempted to say they should build as quickly as possible, preferably before Iran gets nukes.

But, realistically, there can be no peace that way. Both sides have to negotiate in good faith.

Israel will build those 1600 homes, and the US will do nothing.

I'm surprised your not aware who the boss is ?

The US is Israel's Lap Dog.

Why that is, Boggles me for sure!
