That's all I need to hear! I was at a club in Newark on Saturday; I hope I didn't get too drunk and rub up against anyone scabby looking.

One more reason for me to avoid the gym.

Eeewwwwwww.......
Maybe it's one more thing that escaped from a lab somewhere.

This is not a good thing. I wonder how many will die or be seriously hurt because of it. Hopefully a good cure comes up soon.

MRSA = nasty s**t. my uncle caught it a couple of years ago and died. horrible horrible bug!

Im sorry FLC, that sucks.
Actually I havent heard about this until I read this thread. I think if it was that big of a threat, it would be on headline news.

my mother is a nurse and has mentioned this several times in the past few years. nasty stuff. sucks even more i plan on going to school in
nyc.

Maybe someone will now put their foot down on prescribing antibiotics for everything. And only give them out when its truly necessary.
Its a scary thought that this is on the street. There are lots of people in NY, I cannot think of a worse city for this to happen in. I have a fear
that it will spread quickly before being controlled.
All it has to do is hit 1 child, then the school..... I shudder at the thought.
If you have a cold, take cold medicine. If you have the flu, SLEEP. If you feel fine, drink beer!

Actually it did make news of sort last winter. Remember the "killer flu", most of the kids that died from it, actually died from the MRSA secondary
infection.
