I was just reading through some stuff and found this video, I apologize if it's already been posted but I've never seen it before and it includes things from before the election to things that have happened now after the election.

By the way, before anyone comes at me saying that I agree with everything in this video, I DO NOT, however there are some things in the video that seem a bit...off? To say the least, so take a look for yourself and comment instead of coming at me about how everything is a bunch of BS or anything along those lines.

Things that were of interest to me, first was that picture of Obama (on the left in the picture) with the 2 other Muslims in the robes. Also, some of the clips in the video I've never seen before, which is one of the reasons I've posted it here. I know others already knew about this but the point that he bowed to the Saudi king is a bit odd as well, since if you listen to the video, no one in the government is entitled to do that, not to mention the president. It really does show the Muslims that their terrorism has gotten into the heart of our country, and we shouldn't be allowing that to happen...

Hmmm, none of this proves he's a muslim himself. Some of his family may have been muslims, but so what?

If he shows respect to other cultures that doesn't mean he's part of that culture.

Whilst I am no fan of most of Obama's policies, does it matter what his religion is/isn't? Or if he has a religion at all?... what if he were jewish, or believed in fairies at the bottom of the garden. The US is a secular country, and that allows all beliefs and traditions does it not?

I find the entire premise behind this thread to be offensive. First: nothing in the video shown proves the President is a Muslim. Second: since when is being a Muslim something that needs to be "defended" against? Muslim does not equal criminal.

Take your blatant racism elsewhere. And shame on anyone starring this guy.

I starred him =) and Flag him to=) because I agree with the OP, Obama says his Muslim Faith, thats a hard slip up for a guy who rarely made slip-ups on the campaign trail.....

It is in my Opinion that Islam is a false relgion, I am entitled to feel that way, that doesnt mean I dont respect Muslim that means I dont respect there relgion....

Not everyone's opinion is equal. Particularly when your opinion involves blatant, baseless bigotry. You can believe whatever you like about Islam. You can't, however, deride someone else for believing it. Nor is it right that Islamic people should be made to be less, such that they have to defend themselves.

So why the need to S+F a failed attempt at proving Obama's a muslim? The purpose of the video is propaganda because it doesn't matter what religion Obama has, and secondly because there's no evidence that Obama's a Muslim.

It isn't the same as openly criticising a religion using freedom of speech, this is an attempt to distort reality by some sick individuals who made this video. To promote it's existence is no better, and extremely ignorant. If the video had claimed him to be a Buddhist for bowing to the Japanese Emperor, it would still be ignorant.

I'd have a big problem with the POTUS being a muslim. Doesn't mean I don't respect other religions........but a muslim running America would not sit well with me.

I'm not raciest... if you noticed I said I didn't agree with everything in the video - being a Muslim is not a bad thing. The reason I posted this video is because he says he's Christian. If he lies about something like religion, which is an important thing for most Americans, then who knows what else he is lying about?

Really do some research before you come crazy, how come In the Kingdom the home of Islam are toher relgions not allowed? Or In Most Muslims Nations its easier to convert to Islam but a damn near death to convert to Another Relgion? It is a vicious circle.

What difference does it make what his religious beliefs are? At least he doesn't use religious rhetoric to justify his actions like W. did. Anyhow, the video proves nothing in regards to Obama's religious preferences.

Obama a muslim?? Nope. Was President Kennedy a Nazi because he spoke in German? Was Bush a Muslim because he kissed so many Arab leaders and bowed to them as well on occasion? Was Nixon a communist because he hung out with Chairman Mao? Was Reagan a Red because he hung out with Gorbachev?

Obama is not muslim. He does not practice the muslim faith. Trying to tell people that he is, is simply ignorant scaremongering. There is nothing at all wrong with being Muslim but Obama is Baptist and there is overwhelming proof of this and no REAL proof that he is Muslim.

I found it VERY odd that Obama bowed to the Saudi King because.... Muslims do not bow to each other or their kings. Islam teaches to only bow to the Creator

This is a silly assertion. Obama is a Christian. No, I wouldn't have a problem if he were a Muslim. All religions are the same to me. But this is just silly.

Did I ever say I cared if Obama was a Muslim? No. I posted this video because like I said, if he did lie about being a Muslim while he claims to be a Christian then he may be lying about other issues. No the religion of the president doesn't matter to me, but if he lies about it yes I think it is a problem. Why? Because if he secretly is a Muslim, who knows what his motives really are?

I said in the OP I didn't agree with everything in the video, it was just something I posted to show people here on ATS - I didn't make it, I don't agree with it all.

I'm not a racist, I don't care if the president is a Muslim, I don't have anything against Muslims what-so-ever, I have a problem with people who think that blowing them selfs up for the sake of 'peace' and NO I'm not saying all Muslims are terrorists so don't take words out of my mouth.

Obama is a Christian that has been registered at a church since the 1980s.
The OP is presenting a video that is open to debate, suggesting that Obama is a Muslim.
This is a conspiracy site; I'd have thought that the obvious conspiracy that is inferred in this thread is that Obama is claiming to be a Christian whilst secretly adhering to Islam.
I personally don't subscribe to that view, but why should this topic be ruined and obfuscated by people jumping in shouting 'racist', 'bigot', ''Muslim-lover'' etc.

Please, can't we just discuss the actual threads without it descending into the usual ''I believe this, so I'm right, you're wrong'' 8-pager that takes up so much time and effort on this site !
Let's keep ATS cutting edge, rather than mundanely mainstream.
