Child rape charge rocks TSA

bostonher ald.com
A Transportation Security Agency worker who pats down members of the flying public was charged with multiple child sex crimes targeting an underage girl yesterday

The bust outraged privacy and passenger advocates who say it justifies their fears about Logan International Airport’s full-body scanner

If you have a pedophile looking at those naked pictures, they’ve got all your information, it’s a gross violation of their authority
he was charged with two counts of statutory rape, two counts

The people do not need an overhaul, that couldn't be further from the truth
Read this:
stopviolence.com...

Real criminals represent a very small population of society, so why would the people need an overhaul?

Only way people would need an overhaul is if you continue to allow the extinction of the middle class!

"The People" don't have access to mandates requiring anyone they order to walk through a device capible of essentially photographing children's naked bodies through their clothes, though. The TSA does. I have no major issue with going through a scanner myself... if some TSA employee wants to see my package to get his or her rocks off, I'll be happy to flaunt what I have. My kids, however, I draw the line there and that is the reason why I have no long range vacation flight plans for the foreseeable future.

This type of outrageous behavior from a federal employee is more evidence that the only group that needs to be watched are those in federal service. Watching the TSA with surveillance cameras, mind reading technology, psychological profiles, extensive monitoring of all aspects of personal life would be a must in my world.

This is where I would task the NSA to watch every federal employee and find the corrupt criminals and anyone engaged in pedophilia activity, or any criminal activity that endangers the public while wasting tax payer dollars on employees that belong in jail and not collecting a check for being allowed to be so criminal and corrupt while collecting tax dollars in the process.

We have the technology, we just need the will to admit that someone, some agency should be watching each and every single federal service employee. Weed out corruption and eliminate or reduce waste fraud and abuse. Begin bringing the many hidden criminals on federal payroll to trial and in time we will once again prove that we are a moral and just Nation.

We as a nation have lost our ability to trust those that are suppose to be our leaders and the examples for decent and moral behavior. Instead we have our own worst nightmare and I for one hope no one else has to become a victim to a preventable crime such as this incident reveals.

If there were really no place to hide what the TSA Agent did because if he knew everything he did and said was being recorded, the TSA representative would have been deterred. Instead, he played the system and was of course still too mentally challenged to pull off a criminal action without being caught. This brings TSA hiring standards into question. This is why cleaning house begins at home and right now our most trusted portions of government are broken and corrupt from within. I just know we could do better.

Thanks for the posting. It should give us all something to think about.

I say lock this guy up and throw away the key. Those body scanners are one of the worst idead ever, the are not used on children in some countries because it violates their pornography laws. In the US anything having to do with child porn is illegal (like making, selling, trading ect..). in other countries like the UK anything that produces a nude image of a child is illegal.

I'm not saying that what this guy did is ok, but I have always had a problem with "Statutory" rape. This girl, although underage in our country, was still willing and biologically able to have sex. Lock him up and throw away the key should be reserved for people that kidnap and/or forcibly rape someone. If it were my daughter, he would probably be begging to go to the safety of a jail, but there still has to be some difference between "forcible" or "violent" rape, and something like this.

Now as for TSA, they have what 15,000 employees or more? Surely they have this guy and several more on their payroll. They probably have tax evaders, and alcoholics, and even a murderer or thief or two. I don't think we can blame the organization for the individual.

As for the scanner, it is cumbersome, ridiculous, invasive, and ineffective, so it needs to go! The scanner does absolutely nothing to make you safer on an airplane. The shoe scanner, and the bomb sniffing dogs are equally ridiculous, because anybody with any experience in Chemistry, or Aviation, can beat or bypass all of these devices very easily.

For you score keepers:
Guy taking liberties with 14 year old girl = Sick, Someone tell her father
TSA having a criminal employee = Par for the course, fire him
3D scanner = Worthless, expensive, and invasive, ridiculous way to spend a couple of hundred grand!

Sorry, I am confused. Do you support the body scanners? Are you happy with the job the TSA is doing?

How does the ethnicity of the accused factor into this?

I guess I didn't understand your subtle use of sarcasm.

Thank in advance for clarifying.

I don't think has anything to do with the TSA (invasion of the body scanners excluded). This has to do with the hyper-sexualization of everything including very young girls by our society. It is pervasive and in every part of our culture and its been this way for generations. The only way to solve it is for millions upon millions of people to wake up.
