Even though there is no specific alert for riots, large police and Border Guard forces deploy near Old City and in east Jerusalem. Islamic Movement says dozens of bus loads of people will arrive in capital in coming days

Police deployment in Jerusalem out of concerns for riots in the Old City reached its peak Monday afternoon amid tensions on the backdrop of the rededication of the Hurva Synagogue in the Jewish Quarter.

Hurva Synagogue Reopens in Old City

An “invitation only" joyous ceremony is taking place at this moment in the Old City in Jerusalem, where the centuries-old Hurva synagogue has come back to life after having been destroyed by the Jordanians in the War for Independence in 1948.

Muslim and Palestinian Authority leaders claim that Monday’s dedication is a “provocation” and the prelude to a Jewish takeover of the Temple Mount. Security is heavy in the Old City as thousands of Arabs and Bedouin head for the capital"to defend" the Al-Aksa mosque.

Yes, crazy indeed... I have two prophecy posts about the Hurva being completed and what it might mean for the Temple Mount. This story is validation that the Muslims and Jews are taking the prophecy seriously and are preparing for something to happen.

Could it be due to the fact that many religious Holidays are approaching? Many people will be visiting the site. With all the chaos in the Holy Land...I find it smart to put some kind of law enforcement in place for all the people.

I could be wrong....just a thought.

Luke 21:20 ""When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near."

I think Luke 21 is required reading whether you believe the bible or not. The movements by Israel are odd actions in the face of biblical passages that point in this direction. Are they trying to fulfill prophecy?

You would think that some Biblical Scholar or something would come to the realization that what was written can be seen as a warning. Shouldn't we all just humble ourselves before God and admit that we have no idea what we are doing and we do not want to see the horrors that have been prophesied?

I mean God doesn't want us killing eachother over Him. I don't care what religion your following. God doesn't mean for us to kill eachother over His little piece of real estate here on earth. Everyone should vacate the Temple Mount and make a worldwide appeal to all the faiths to consider the simplicity of asking their God to make clear what He would have done with the Temple Mount.

Zechariah 12:2-3 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

There is a passage that says something about the people who are called by His name humbling themselves and He will answer.

2Chronicles 7:14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Yeah, just like that.

We can not ignore that will... Its madness, but they believe its true, more when they act towards it. Religion is drug to these masses.

Information from a source of mine (a Palestinian) says its all going to kick off tomorrow big style with a mass riot. Make of that what you will - i'm not convinced either way.

You got that right, Jack. The God people think they are worshiping is not the Original creator of this place.

The Lizard God created the mess we see today. He is the only God most people around here recognise.

If I am wrong, we would still be living in paradise. So, now we are in Hell. Oh, Hell is a pit or grave according to proper translation. I guess we all end up there but thanks to the Roman Church, Hell has a new meaning.... Who in the Hell did the translating, any ways?

Well we will find out very soon if that is the case. This whole story seem like more preparations for what we are told is not happening. How much longer will people stand around and just believe what we are told? What is it going to take for people to wake up? When this is happening in your own backyard you will have no choice but to accept reality. Question why these things are happening and stop accepting absurd answers that make us as human beings look easily controlled and manipulated.
