Now this sounds more like the old days of Anglo-Saxon/Celtic women kicking some ass

I have no issue with women in combat beyond this:

A woman being captured by the enemy will be raped repeatedly and potentially enslaved while becoming just a MIA.

I disagree with any side sending women into combat strictly because of that, not because they are incapable.

Unless the entire world unanimously agreed that women will make up 50% of all militarys to keep men in check, then its going to be a brutal thing...not to say that women cant or wont do horrible things to men when they are captured (Abu Dhabi)...Do we need to open up this box of bee's? Maybe we do if only to get the facts down

I'm not sure whether a person stands up or sits down to have a piss really matters. At the end of the day, it's one person killing another and that's something that no gender really has a monopoly over and is equally capable of.

As another poster has pointed out, it's not as if it's not in keeping with other/past cultures either. It's only our modern social mores that say this shouldn't happen.

Feh- women have been destroying lives forever. This one got famous enough to get some moron to write a book about her.

To me, what stands out here is that quote about killing more people than 3 murderers put together. Is comparing yourself to them supposed to be a good thing? Is this something to be proud of? I know its what she is out there to do, as is everyone else, but it seems rather sick.

I thought the same thing, glorifcation of murdering people doesn't sit too well with me. I'm not a big fan of the war propaganda in general.

I wonder if she killed any enemy soldiiers or are all her kills civilians? It seems like the ratio of combatants to civilians killed is different from any war before. I would not be so proud of killing babies.
