Just as moving water erodes limestone to form hidden tunnels, so too does glacial drainage forge complex cave systems. The melt water gouges coiling chasms through the ice and, far below, it flows along the rocky glacier bed to form subglacial conduits. Here, adventurous explorers can traverse floors of naked stone, their lights gleaming against the swirling blue-white ice architecture overhead
what a find this is very interesting!!

quite a key to life down there aye!!

Don't forget about the Doomsday Seed Vault. I just read in the news they reached 1/2 million different species of native seeds.

They do in the seedvaults. They are held in special chambers with correct humidity, temperature etc. and every couple of months a seed from a batch is tested for fertility.
Stilll I would think that its easier to save the forests than to replant them..(assuming we would be the ones responsible for the extinction
