Girls ordered to spend weekends with sex offender father

A court has ordered two young girls to spend weekends with their sex offender father provided he puts a door on their bedroom they can lock.

The Family Court found the father had invited one of the girls into his bed, and had "demonstrated affection toward her in a way that was, in all the circumstances, inappropriate for a child of that age".

The eldest girl has told counselors that she was afraid to stay overnight with her father.

This guy has downloaded child porn which is reprehensible, however as is mentioned in the article he has not actually been charged with an actual physical offense... So are the judges overreacting? or are they being safe? and if these girls fear him its either because they have been told that he will hurt them, or this is just an assumption by the media? Do remember there has been no proof that the man has had sex with his children - lets convict him in the court of public opinion?? Who knows what the ex-wife has been saying to the kids? Just because the man has inappropriate sex urges for children doesn't mean he will hurt his kids.

However, if there really is some case outside the "public opinion" and this MSM article then to be safe only day visits should have been allowed by the Judges.

The girls may fear him because of their own reasons, let us not forget that as a possibility.

Given that the man has downloaded and enjoyed watching child porn, it is IMPERATIVE that steps are taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the children..even if he has not done anything to his girls.

And after the sited actions below I for one don't see it's worth the lives of TWO LITTLE CHILDREN to TAKE THE BLOODY RISK!

Can the ruling be appealed?


If I can stay on-line (having connection problems) I'm going to try to get more info. I'd like to hear something said from the Mum too... Will keep trying.
