Have you any idea as to how begrudging that sounds? It's as if you're only paying lip service to the idea that both people are messed-up. Ultimately, you're blaming the evil man and the woman is just a poor victim that desperately needs help. Yes, we get it.
She is slowly comitting suicide by eating herself to death, by her own free will, and her partner has nothing to do with it.
And yet, I've not actually seen anyone say this. People seem to be saying that they're both complicit in this: no body appears to be saying the man is wholly innocent.
I get the impression (from your post) you're framing this like this because you've started off as an absolute position: the woman is the victim and the man is the villain and it's pretty clear cut to you. Now, to make your point all you can do is literally turn the position around. This isn't about absolutes and a black and white view point and is far more complex than the 'sick, evil man' theory that you're trying to pass off.
No. This man is sick and evil. Pure and simple.
