Now, okay, this won't be news to most (me neither) as a lot of us have suspected for a long time that something dodgy was going on around Most Haunted, but for the first time since Derek was sacked, MH has been semi-accused of fraud, by medium Chris Conway.

I had the decision to make between fame/money V's My beliefs and principles. I won't go into details but I couldn't be a part of something I didn't trust. Too many things were happening contrary to what I was picking up or at times picking up no spirit activity at all.
I feel that we were either the luckiest paranormal investigation group in the world or the tapping’s, stone throwing etc wasn't paranormal. This is of course my opinion and is in no way any accusation of fraud on my part.

The way Chris has been treated on the show, I agree with was not nice in the slightest - they barely let him talk, he was thrown into the hub with no air time on what he was saying, and frankly, looked confused a lot of the time.

I also feel that I wasn’t involved enough in the actual investigations. If I didn’t manage to pick up all the information in the first 15 minutes I’d lost my chance. Even bringing stuff through at the hub wasn’t being aired. This I felt was not fair on myself or the fans.

Good for him being a genuine guy and standing up against them and saying he doesn't think that half the stuff they were getting was true!
I've done investigations myself, and got a fraction of what they recieve, and been happy - but then again I don't have a fortune riding on my shoulders.
Frankly, this clinched it for me - it's practically asking him to cheat!

My decision was made for me when I realised that on receiving my call sheet on a Friday the venue was being written on it for this series. I am strongly against any advanced knowledge of where I’m investigating (unless it is made clear I know)

At least now Chris' reputation won't be tarnished, and I hope that others (naming no names *cough*Ciaran*cough*) will get out too before the show ruins their reputation with their stone throwing, falling down stairs and general clowning about.
Afterall, it's hilarious veiwing, but without cameras showing where the phenomenia is coming from, showing the bottom of tables, showing where the bangs are from and where the figures are - it's just slipping even furthur down the fraud slope.

And if they do start to have a go at the guy as he thinks they will, I'm definetely not tuning in anymore. Not even for the reasons I watch it at the moment.
Which is only comic value.

I stopped watching it quite a while back, in favor of more interesting accounts of paranormal.

The "stone throwing", was absolutely laughable, as were the seances when they all sat around the table and it would inevitably begin to shake.

All they did was walk about and frighten one another half to death.

I did however, enjoy seeing the locations over Eastern Europe/England.

They frequented some very old places; castles, etc. which was interesting to see, as we do not have structures that old in the U.S.

It was predictable that more paranormal shows would appear in order to cover for em weaponry. I don't watch them, nor know their names or what to dial in on the television...but I thought I'd make a comment. My guess is that these hotspots are nothing more than fixed targets for the satellites. People talk on the net and the omnivore and narus funnels info to hq, which enables word to spread as events snowball. If you want your eeg captured, then by all means, rush to these places so that the media can cash in by selling military stealth weapons. Isn't it enough that you can hear stones popping on the roof and other expansion/contraction from millimeter scanners and stuff when in the privacy of your own home??? The whole thing is a cover up.

No, no, it's moved up. It's on LivingTV now, usually once a week.
At the moment it's been twice, since they do a 2 hour live show on Saturday night, then the 'best bits' on Tuesday nights. They also do a hell of a lot of week long, 4 hour a night shows too.

So it isn't surprising that they're resorting to fakery.

Never mind though, they might get kicked off and a new generation of ghosthunters with plenty of potential to clown about falling over in the dark and getting scared WITHOUT faking might get a chance.

I know. I love the table shaking. It was saying 'You go die. I am you.' on the ouija last night. Its pretty obvious they could move the table though, afterall, palms flat instead of upright etc. Good for Chris to stand up and say something dodgy is going on.
They are hilarious when they scream and fall over though...

See, I'm in England, so I'm used to all the castles and stuff. Hoping to visit a few myself!

Yay! I wish you would get your own show; I could say I knew you when. Hey, I hope you will keep us apprised of some of your adventures. I so love the ghost stories.

Haha!! If I do ever get my own show, ATS will be the first to know. Then you can be like 'I knew her before she was on TV!'

I'll keep you all posted with my ghost adventures though, sure! I'll start a thread when we get on our first one (so little time/energy/resources atm for a group of our age) and then I'll update it each time I go on one and add photos and videos and stuff if I can
