I'm sure there were Brits back then who thought their aerospace and car industries would never go away. Talk about blind nationalism.
Indeed, try to have a nice day. As the sun will (again) set on the British (Financial) Empire.

As of yet you have not given a single piece of evidence as to your claim.
Please do tell us all how you know this?
What are your credentials that state you are qualified to accurately model the English economy?
Me thinks you obviously have a problem with England and the English, I wonder if you were turned down immigration perhaps?
Please do enlighten us all your reasoning?
Because from where we all stand you just look like someone who gives baseless negative comments... isn't that one of the definitions of Troll?
And you still have not answered the question of where you are from.... I wonder why that could be hmmmmm?? Perhaps an ex colonial country??
I actually work for a major company with a turnover of over 40 million delivering financial support services to those with Sage /ms NAV /Pegasus and
other accounting systems. I can tell you that I converse with financial directors of businesses all shapes and sizes. Yes most are holding onto thier
purses and watching their bottom line.... but NON and I mean NON are planning for what you describe.
Now I also network and recently was on a table with one of the directors of Barclays. it was a very very interesting conversation, he basically said
that they are seeing a massive rise in the number of mortgage applications being accepted and businesses credit ratings are being restored....
Ever heard the expression save the pennies and the pounds look after themselves??
What I'm saying is business is growing here now not shrinking, and as the internal economics return to some level of normality so will the country
weather the global financial storm.
One Final point.... if you don't like the UK and English people, why not just stop talking to us?? I'm sure we wouldn't mind
Korg.
