Just some unexpected local news i found lol

The Scottish Parliament has spent the week in committee to prepare for the visit of the Dalai Lama.

With heads bowed over their committee papers, MSPs have been pursuing his aim - "to dispel the misery of the world".

His Holiness will lead the time for reflection at 1430 BST on Wednesday.

All tickets for the public gallery have already gone.

What will this self-styled "simple Buddhist monk" say?

What will he make of this little parliament dealing with the mundane issues of a mainly prosperous and peaceful nation?

Pretty good question if u ask me lol

Holy Visit

*i cant figure out ATSNN so if this can get made a submission i would be greatful*

I did see this earlier this week Gryffen but missed him in Glasgow.

He really likes the Scottish Parliament and the system of devolution and he'd like the chinese to apply it to his homeland to give Tibet some semblance of control. So he's going to have a hands on visit to see how ours really works. I hear he also likes a good dram
