Hey guys, I notice both posters so far are new.

The OPs presented some breaking news, awesome, great to be on top of things.

The pair of you should be on top of your manners too.

Wealth can be relative.

Perhaps, but you might be sensitive to the fact that describing somewhere as poor might be offensive, as opposed to just retorting to someones upset.

Christ, there's enough schism here, without people getting pissy about an earthquake report.

Also, why start multiple threads about similar events? You could've rolled your 2 earthquake threads into one, or are you just star-hunting?

there have been quakes in japan, Afghanistan, pakistan, in the us to. i think there are a lot of poor countries in earthquake zones as a few wealthy ones. we are seeing a unusually high amount of eq activity globally in a short span of time, i am confused if it is just that the global media is reporting every incident therefore making it look like there is more activity or if there is actually more compared to reports in previous years. we need to compare the amount of eq activity last year and this year.

and please, lets keep ats a nice place for discussion

I might find that you are trying to gain stars via that comment yourself.
I threaded 2 posts because of the separate locations, for those to be aware.
If you check my profile you will find that I do keep on top of earthquakes and the tools for people to check them out as they happen, as I do think there's a hell of a lot more to come.

I read and share most things I find interesting to myself and share, thats how we learn isn't it!?

and now my thread has been destroyed completely with off topic subjects.

Well , sorry for sounding like a dick but before you make a comment try to think because maybe you are the one sounding rude and are offending peoples nationalities...end of discussion for me.
