Finally something that truly makes sense. I've been waiting for this news for quite a while.

I've always believed her murder had something to do - if not in part - in whole over her relationship with Dodi Fayed and his business practices. And now this...

Will this put her murder to rest (for I do believe it was murder)? I think not. But though the truth is something keenly sought I do regret her children will continue to have to live with this *story* for the rest of their lives.

EDIT TO ADD:

Another FAS scientist, John Pike, says the NSA and other US intelligence agencies may have been monitoring Diana to protect her from terrorist attacks.

Pike says it is also possible she may have been monitored because of her involvement in banning land mines, a position opposed by the Pentagon. [APB Online, 11/30/1998; Washington Post, 12/12/1998]

The NSA routinely monitors charities and human rights organizations operating overseas because they often have access to information about regimes opposed to Western interests.

Madsen believes the NSA spied on Diana because of her human rights work; he says that “undisclosed material held in US government files on Princess Diana was collected because of her work with the international campaign to ban landmines.”

Scary implications...

SnF for you as Diana was sooo vocal about land minds which in the civilized world is illegal. Having said that the civilized world is making one hell of a profit from manufacturering and selling land minds.

Her murder was an example to those who wish to protest against the war machine.

The next prince of England could not be half blooded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nor could the future king of england have a half brother!!!!!!!!!!!

Found something interesting here.
Interesting and scary.
I need to check it out more of course but I wanted to get it up here now just in case I get disconnected or the info info disappears - whatever.

Question is WHY would the Pentagon be AGAINST Diana's involvement - against her being an activist against landmines???

That is a weird one...

Whoa. That just makes my skin crawl...

Dodi was to produce Gordon Thomas's screenplay, Mambo.

Diana was slated to be the executive producer.

The film focused on her interest in banishing land-mines. It was to be shot in South Africa. Brad Pitt, Gene Hackman and Embeth Davitz were slated to star.

The first pre-production meeting was scheduled on the very day Dodi and Diana died.

It was Shamwari where I chose to set my screenplay, Mambo. And it was there, deep in the bush, that Diana's call came.

The movie had already attracted the Discovery Channel's "Animal Planet" to send a crew to film the preparations. The venerable Times of London had dispatched a team to Shamwari to cover the many steps in creating a multi-million dollar movie.

And, at the center of it all, was Diana.

The voice, which had persuaded kings and presidents, spoke softly: "Would it be possible for Mambo to rescue Brad from a landmine?"
"Maybe it could be a whole minefield. That would be a perfect way to draw attention to the terrible evil of those awful weapons."

Then, with quiet emphasis: "After what I have seen there is nothing more wicked than landmines", added Diana. It would be the last conversation we shared.

...a day after she suggested the scene in which Mambo would rescue Pitt from a field sewn with landmines, she was dead

However I have always thought that Charles was directly responsible for her murder

I still think he's something to do with it - but maybe that's just me wanting to revisit British Royal History.

By the way - what did you mean about her having a child that isn't of Royal blood? You believe her youngest has another father? I thought all that was just morbid gossip?

Here is the proof that Diana's "accident" was in fact an assassination: you can find at:
www.investigateur.info...
an intelligence dossier that names the assassin of James Andanson, the infamous millionaire paparazzi and freelance spy for SIS who drove the white Fiat Uno in the tunnel in Paris that caused Dodi's Mercedes to swerve into a pillar. You will find the relevant passage in paragraph 14. Translate with an internet translator if you do not understand French. Andanson was found shot dead in a burnt-out car with two bullet holes in his head.
www.express.co.uk...:-Fiat-driver-%27shot-in-the-head%27
The police decided he killed himself, which is absurd because:
1. shooting yourself a second time in the head is highly improbable, if not impossible;
2. the car was locked and no car key was found inside the car (the killer made the mistake of keeping the car key after he had shot Andanson, dowsed his body with diesel fuel, set light to it and locked the car to ensure the body was thoroughly burnt so that the two bullet holes would not be noticed, which would have proved murder instead of suicide).

The killer was a Yugoslav intelligence agent code-name "T":
"le photographe a été assassiné par un homme de main d¹origine yougoslave"
who worked under the pseudonym of Alain-Philippe Malagnac d'Argens, a well-known French homosexual night club owner and aristocrat who married famous French singer Amanda Lear:
en.wikipedia.org...
and who, as an agent, had worked on international murder cases, such as the "Safra file," referring to the murder of Edmond Safra, the founder of the Republic National Bank in New York, in 1999.

Why was Andanson murdered? Because he had bragged to his wife and friends that he had been in the tunnel that night photographing Diana (he was NOT one of the paparazzi arrested at the time). Here he is in front of his white Fiat Uno:
img.dailymail.co.uk...
and here's the same car parked outside the Ritz Hotel in Paris on the night of the "accident":
www.wethepeople.la...
He had become a loose cannon who might have told the world about his collaboration with certain intel agencies that night. That could not be risked, so he was "terminated with extreme prejudice." Here's a film about the Diana murder in which French detectives speak about Andanson:

Thank you for your kind reply.

The landmine issue that Diana became involved in was not the reason for her murder. It was never important enough to "....." to warrant the risk of having her eliminated. The motive was 'personal.' If you want to get nearer the answer, investigate the word "blackmail" in the context of Diana.

that's not really an argument against her being murdered, that's just listing the circumstances.

"NSA and other US intelligence agencies" - this i find very strange.
