Just the latest evidence against this evil man. That's what he is, nothing more, an evil man. This is horrible news for Catholics making their Lenten preparations. They should have risen up and ousted this criminal from the start. But that is the strength of the evil embedded within the Catholic Church. The faithful are fed lies, are thankful for them and continue on with their unquestioning devotion lest they be denied salvation. I for one am not surprised by the actions and history of this criminal. He is simply the latest Charlatan in the long line. He will make an Easter proclamation of peace and hope and all will be forgotten and forgiven by the faithful.

His former archdiocese acknowledged it transferred a suspected paedophile priest while Pope Benedict was in charge -- as criticism mounted over a 2001 Vatican directive he penned instructing bishops to keep abuse cases secret.

The Pope agreed to send a priest for therapy in 1980 for allegedly forcing an 11-year-old boy to engage in oral sex. The priest was secretly shifted from Essen to Munich, which was Cardinal Ratzinger's See.

and more

The church has been accused of a cover-up after over 300 allegations of child abuse by German Catholic priests.

and to add insult to injury

However, the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising last night rallied to play down Pope Benedict's role in the scandal.

This is sickening. This goes on and on and this creep remains protected and revered. I find no joy in posting this thread.

The wall of silence, which protects the paedophile priests is no coincidence. It was set up right from the top. Instructions, how to react were sent to bishops around the world. The document with this instructions is called “Crimine solicitationies”.

The Vatican instructed Catholic bishops around the world to cover up cases of sexual abuse or risk being thrown out of the Church. The Observer has obtained a 40-year-old confidential document from the secret Vatican archive which lawyers are calling a 'blueprint for deception and concealment'. One British lawyer acting for Church child abuse victims has described it as 'explosive'...

...Lawyers point to a letter the Vatican sent to bishops in May 2001 clearly stating the 1962 instruction was in force until then. The letter is signed by Cardinal Ratzinger, the most powerful man in Rome beside the Pope and who heads the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith - the office which ran the Inquisition in the Middle Ages.

www.guardian.co.uk...

Cardinal Ratzinger is the current Pope. So he cannot claim, that there was no institutional cover up. Neither can he claim a lack of knowledge. The world is ruled by sick people.

It couldn't get any funnier folks. Sad to say.

Pope slams Irish church, no Vatican blame in abuse

You've likely seen or heard of this prior to my posting. Just as soon as the heat is turned up on this glorified criminal he points his evil finger and says "Look, pedophiles, over there!" What a crock of crap. Some government have the cubes to arrest this creep when he comes calling for crimes against humanity. This ongoing soap opera is absurd.

Thank you for adding that DS! Of course the world has been very slow to pick up on the fact that Ratzinger was in charge of the Vatican cover-up for decades prior to becoming pope. His election was likely his pay off for a job well done and insurance he wouldn't come clean. Just a guess. John Paul II was in on it too. Not a saint by any measure. The Vatican was the mafia before there was a mafia. People don't realize that the mafia was built on the example of the church hierarchy. Tony Soprano would be but an abused choir boy when compared to the long line of Popes, Cardinals and Bishops.
