"Insulted" by Israel, U.S. scrambles to save talks

www.alertnet.org
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called Israel's behaviour "insulting" after it approved 1,600 new homes last week at a settlement in the Jerusalem area on the very day Vice President Joe Biden was there to set a seal on relaunched negotiations.

Biden told Reuters on Friday he believed Netanyahu was sincere in seeking a deal to give the Palestinians a state and that the premier understood that Israel had "no alternative".

Here's the way it is folks.

Those 1600 homes are gonna happen.

Israel does not care one iota what the US says.

They (israel) will feign they are listening to what the US says, but at the same time , construction is going to continue.

Israel tells the US what is going to happen, not the other way around.

pRO-ISRAEL GROUP "STUNNED" BY CLINTON

There was no reaction from Israeli officialdom during the Jewish sabbath but in Washington, the Anti-Defamation League, which lobbies for Israel with U.S. lawmakers, called Clinton's remarks on the diplomatic debacle a "gross over-reaction".

?!?!?! gross over reaction, seriously, the anti defemation club seem to be the most single minded / blind to the facts group i have ever ever ever ever freeking seen!

how the hell can they be in shock over what someone said about their hallow land and how THEIR people are litrely not giving a flying fudge about anyone but themselfs!

isreal should be on their own , no backup, no friends of usa or uk ect, then lets see how far they go... all they seem to want is war, i say every one sit back and let them start wars and get beat.

This is just a dog and pony show to give Israel what it wants while attempting to save some credibility here for the U.S. Government to be viewed as an unbiased international negotiator which we are anything but unbiased when it comes to our gunboat diplomacy.

Of course the rest of the world knows that but the Government has the average American hoodwinked into thinking we actually enjoy some kind of supreme moral position we lost long ago.

The long and short of it is there is one thing that makes Middle Eastern Oil so insanely profitable for the Powers that Be and that’s the constant tension Israel creates in the region through its heavy handed belligerence and little big man approach to everything it does.

Israel is what provides the most solid pretext to the U.S. and it’s corporations to launch ‘pre-emptive’ wars of aggression.

This was all orchestrated behind the scenes and orchestrated rather amateurishly in my humble opinion by the leaders of the two states who have come to believe arrogantly that their propaganda is infallible and all powerful.

We surely gave Israel the blessing behind the scenes and are only posturing publicly to delude the Palestinians there is some percentage in looking towards us here in the U.S. to help them negotiate the end to Israel’s apartheid policies.

As the first nation indigenous Americans used to say “White man (lady) speak with forked tongue”.

Well it's starting to heat up.

Clashes break out near Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers have used tear gas against Palestinian women protesting at the Qalandiya crossing in the occupied West Bank near Jerusalem.

Scuffles broke out on Saturday when dozens of women tried to push through one of the crossing's gates.

The women had gathered at the crossing chanting "Jerusalem is Arab, our eternal capital", briefly planting a Palestinian flag on one of its gates.

Israel has imposed a 48-hour closure of the West Bank, not letting anyone in or out before Sunday dawn.

Remember the Iranian president said this:

Today, it is clear that Israel is the most hated regime in the world It is not useful for its masters [the West] anymore. They are in doubt now. They wonder whether to continue spending money on this regime or not - Ahmadinejad

Along with saying the 2009 elections were the fairest and freest in the whole world.

Jerusalem is not even mentioned in their Islamic religion since this a lot about that. Palestine was never a culture and the delusion to think Israel has been fertile land for 2000 years is absurd, it was not until the Jews arrived and now that land exports and grows its own crops unlike before. They have hotels and a sense of order which was not there before and now they all want a piece of the pie without doing the work.

But forget that, we forget the past and the consequence of it like WW1 & WW2, Palestine was under a British Mandate of Palestine which was part of a defunct Ottoman Empire which repeated what it sowed so to speak, ask the Turks for their genocide against the Armenians and their apologies today. This was a precursor to how Hitler learned his Holy war against the Jews in their genocide.
It is all painted in this void of lost information that the Jews invaded, the land was brought with money, it was cultivated unlike any time before and democracy was offered. But the same stubborn anti-Jewish attitudes erupts in the hearts of man, then add the fact that Islamic beliefs do no favours to Jews or Christians and that it is incompatible with anything else then it reaps its own separation to the point that their fear mongering towards freedom who offered to join in but had to shut them out with boundaries. Israel and the British mandate areas of control have slowly made Israel a very small geographic area and the pressure mounts all the time.

If the American's leg go of Israel they would be just as bad as Nazi Germany for their next genocide even with their landmasses of Arabic land and how countries have threatened them for many years.

Israel has provided many clues to religious history, it has proven so many Biblical places and strengthened the Christian faith even more, Even Egyptian history speaks about it as a second reference and the museums are full of evidence.
When mankind is at World War people need answers and faith to why, why all this war why is one race against another, who is right who is wrong. So many clues have been uncovered from Israel and that would never happen under Islamic rule, discoveries were being made in the 1800s as well during the Christian revivals, it was a place for history to be discovered and uncovered.

You have to think who would not want you to know the truth, who would shut it out who would try and destroy the destiny of a Minority group or cause them to gather as one in safety after many years? Who denies them as a people and a race who wants them wiped out again and who wants your crosses taken down in your country and brings you to court to challenge your freedoms and Christian heritage?

If the world is so blind that they cannot see it then no wonder if things will get worse and the justice system crumbles, look at how many absurd stories there are on the news, how spiritually blind the next generation is becoming. No one is taking Iran seriously either, it is like people are too dumb to see it, the threats are obvious you even have your own home grown extreamists too joining in the fall of America.

Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture and if mine is wrong in your eyes then that is your choice like mine has been made, it is like faith it is either in you or it is not.

Jewish populations will grow but their land will also strink as there is pressure on all its sides.

That all sounds like an elaborate appeal utilizing a lot of base fictions and textbook distortions to call for genocide against the Islamic people, which is neither spiritual in its nature nor divine in its ugliness but is simply contemptible in its unmistakable murderous intent.

The truth is that many Jews did not go into Diaspora and lived peacefully with their Muslim brothers and sisters for well over a millennium.

The truth is that non-Hebrew Semitic people have lived in that same land for thousands of years and it was and is wrong to violently displace them.

The manipulative appeals to Christians to fight a Muslim war of attrition based on one fallacy after another are just that, manipulative appeals based on deceit.

Finally if putting in sprinkler systems is a sign of ownership then technically the entire Southwestern United States should belong to the Mexican day laborers that installed theirs!

Just saying!

How about screw religion? And the religious reasons
And just Use what’s at hand

Only fools play the religion card to put their points across

Anyhow the US would be as bad as nazy Germany

My history sucks, but didn’t the US trade with Nazi Germany
And also didn’t most people even promant Jews know what was happening to people in death camps and let them happen.

And screw the Israel have given artefacts that they lived there thousands of years ago, who gives a damn

Every country has a history of previous settlers
Doesn’t give them the bloody right to come back years later and kick out the new occupants.

Palestine has been there for a Long time.
Israel is only in modern times is only a few years old.

And don’t bring in the biblical crap.
by your views the American Indians can kick out every white boy in the US as they have ancestral claim with the Australian averignies doing the same,
and so forth.

A lot of people give a damn about Israel and its history because it is the focal point of all major empires of the past which made what the world is today. No one really cared about Palistaine in the 1940s it was absent, it was barren land that no one used or cared about.

If there is now water in the land then it was not because any other people provided it they would not have been inventive enough to have done so or cared enough to put the effort in.

If land is settled by war then let fate settle it, if it comes down for a greater good then that is God's unseen plan, if some believe faith in God can over come obsticles then let his spirit decide who wins the odds of long term plans. The world is for man to fill, maybe not destroy it but to look after it too. If they want to disprove all this go ahead, let them wage war against Israel and am sure the odds are not good no matter how small the landmass or population is, since it has always been about past and present empires all wanting their part in this land that but proved they failed every time.

The Land of Israel, known in Hebrew as Eretz Yisrael, has been sacred to the Jewish people since Biblical times. According to the Torah, the Land of Israel was promised to the three Patriarchs of the Jewish people, by God, as their homeland;[26][27] scholars have placed this period in the early 2nd millennium BCE.[28] According to the traditional view[who?], around the 11th century BCE, the first of a series of Israelite kingdoms and states established rule over the region; these Israelite kingdoms and states ruled intermittently for the following one thousand years.[29]

Between the time of the Israelite kingdoms and the 7th-century Muslim conquests, the Land of Israel fell under Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek, Roman, Sassanian, and Byzantine rule.[30][31] Jewish presence in the region dwindled after the failure of the Bar Kokhba revolt against the Roman Empire in 132 CE.[32] In 628/9, the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius conducted a massacre and expulsion of the Jews. Nevertheless, a continuous Jewish presence in the Land of Israel remained, with the Jewish religious centre moving to Galilee, establishing itself in Tiberias.[33] The Mishnah and part of the Talmud were composed during this period.[34] At the beginning of the 12th century there were still about fifty Jewish families in that city.[35] The Land of Israel was captured from the Byzantine Empire around 636 CE during the initial Muslim conquests. Control of the region transferred between the Umayyads,[36] Abbasids,[37] and Crusaders over the next six centuries, before falling in the hands of the Mamluk Sultanate, in 1260. In 1516, the Land of Israel was conquered by the Ottoman Empire, which ruled the region until the 20th century.[38]
