SAIC: DC's $8 Billion secret

A recent alternet.org article www.alternet.org... claims that SAIC is the real power behind ALL the intelligence organizations: CIA, NSA, etc.

For instance, SAIC, a “stealth company” that most people have never heard of, is considered to be the brains of the entire US intelligence apparatus, more powerful than the much more popularly known CIA, NSA and FBI - all agencies that SAIC is deeply intertwined with.

That's some scary stuff. SAIC is in a position to directly influence how government works, with absolutely no accountability. And the most ominous thing is that they most assuredly have plants in so many places of power that any attempt to reign them in would be quickly and quietly be squashed before it got beyond the office of whomsoever first came up with the idea.

Yeah sort of the philosopher-kings -- the information experts -- to be loaned out based on need, with deep pockets paid by public money....
