I think it is interesting how the large earthquakes have had major precursors. Before the December 26 quake, the cascades acted up for almost a year, and the sun's actions were quite spectacular. There was a major solar event right before the quake and before the second large quake a month later. I was busy before the Hati quake, but before this most recent Chile quake, there was more talk about Yellowstone, and some more solar events. Before this most recent 8 point "aftershock" (dont think it was, IMO it was the weakest spot at the moment) there was a newsworthy solar event.

I think that with the data we have now, you could come up with a very real estimate of when, BUT there is still nothing that points to where. I do think it is interesting that if you follow this latest quake north you will run into the New Madrid fault line.
